N	Nadine Grassmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Beschreibung der Internetseite passt nicht ganz zu unserer Erfahrung bezüglich der Tiere. Aber die Besitzer waren sehr nett und im Zimmer stimmte alles. Toller Ausblick beim Frühstück. Guter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern. The description of the website does not quite match our experience regarding the animals. But the owners were very nice and in the room everything was perfect. Great view at breakfast. Good starting point for hiking.
M	Méline Houben on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gemengde ervaringen. De ligging van de Stanahof is nogal afgelegen. Je moet over relatief smalle en deels gebrekkige wegen (zeker vanaf Döbriach). Döbriach (met dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt) is circa 15 minuten rijden. Daar staat tegenover dat het bij de Stanahof lekker rustig is (geen doorgaand verkeer) en je een mooi uitzicht hebt op het Drautal en de omliggende bergwereld. Tijdens een rondwandeling op de flanken van de Mirnock bleek dat het uitzicht nog mooier kan: boek dan een verblijf bij één van de Mirnockbauern (prachtig uitzicht op de Milstättersee en bij helder weer op de Grossglockner). Ons appartement was ruim. Helaas ontbraken een afzuigkap en verlichting in de keuken. In de zomer niet zo'n probleem, maar in de winter zijn beide zaken noodzakelijk. Voor de eerste keer in 25 jaar vakantievieren in Oostenrijk zijn wij niet gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangen. De gastvrouw heeft ons niet persoonlijk welkom geheten en de begrüssungsjause (volgens website) hebben we niet gehad. Het was een erg zakelijke afhandeling van onze vakantieboeking. Voor de eerste keer dat wij dit zo meemaken. Desondanks: een prima appartement voor een faire prijs. Mixed experiences. The location of the Stanahof is quite remote. You have to go on relatively narrow and partly defective roads (especially from Döbriach). Döbriach (with the nearest supermarket) is a 15-minute drive away. On the other hand, it is nice and quiet at the Stanahof (no through traffic) and you have a nice view of the Drautal and the surrounding mountain world. During a walk on the flanks of the Mirnock it turned out that the view could be even better: book a stay at one of the Mirnockbauern (beautiful view of the Milstättersee and in clear weather on the Grossglockner). Our apartment was spacious. Unfortunately, a kitchen hood and lighting were missing. Not such a problem in the summer, but both things are necessary in the winter. For the first time in 25 years of holiday celebration in Austria, we have not been welcomed and welcomed. The hostess has not welcomed us personally and we have not had the begrüssungsjause (according to website). It was a very business-like process for our vacation booking. For the first time we have experienced this. Nevertheless: a great apartment for a fair price.

Wir wurden hier kurzfristig aufgenommen, weil die Unterkunft die wir gebucht hatten einen Wasserschaden hatte. Great apartment, great view. And very nice landlords. We were taken in here at short notice because the accommodation we had booked had water damage.

Wir kehren bestimmt im Mai zu und werden uns von den selbst produzierten Schmankerln überzeugen - ein herzliches Dankeschön Wasn't open yet, but we two hikers were allowed to quench our thirst. We will definitely be returning in May and will convince ourselves of the delicacies we have produced ourselves - a heartfelt thank you
S	Stefan Mayer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Stanahof ist eine traumhafte Unterkunft an einem wahnsinnig schönem Ort. Unsere Ferienwohnung war geräumig und sehr sauber. Ein herrlicher Ausblick inklusive. Die Begrüßung war sehr, sehr freundlich und offen. Bei Fragen wurde immer gut geholfen. Unser Sohn war begeistert und durfte im Stall mithelfen. Das Frühstück war üppig, sehr gut und dem Ambiente entsprechend. Es ist ein wunderschöner Bauernhof und kein 5 Sterne Ressort. Dessen muss man sich bewusst sein. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. The Stanahof is a wonderful place to stay in an incredibly beautiful place. Our apartment was spacious and very clean. A wonderful view included. The greeting was very, very friendly and open. We always helped with questions. Our son was enthusiastic and was allowed to help in the stable. The breakfast was plentiful, very good and in keeping with the ambience. It is a beautiful farm and not a 5 star resort. You have to be aware of that. We will definitely be back.
