 Very nice walk towards the lookout point. The control room itself is also well preserved!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ca. 100 Treppen führen auf den Aussichtsturm hinauf. Der Eintritt ist kostenlos, es wird lediglich um eine Spende gebeten.
Es gibt beim Eingangstor auch ein "Gipfelbuch".
Diese Warte liegt am Stainzer Panoramaweg 1. Die Runde ist ca. 13 km lang, startet beim Infopoint mitten in Stainz und bei trocken Wetter reichen Turnschuhe. Trinkbrunnen oder ähnliches gibt es nicht. Also genug Wasser mitnehmen oder ein Bäuchlein bemühen.
About 100 stairs lead up to the observation tower. Admission is free, all you need to do is make a donation.
There is also a "summit book" at the entrance gate.
This control room is on the Stainzer Panoramaweg 1. The round is approx. 13 km long, starts at the info point in the middle of Stainz and in dry weather sneakers are sufficient. There are no drinking fountains or the like. So take enough water with you or try a tummy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöne Aussicht 360°. Der Bau ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und deshalb sollte auch jeder von uns brav eine freiwillige Spende in die Box werfen. ;-)
Very nice view 360 °. The construction is getting a bit old and therefore every one of us should throw a voluntary donation into the box. ;-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bis kurz vor der Warte kommt man mit dem Auto hin. Auf dem letzten Stück fährt man auf einer Schotterstraße. Die letzten 250 Meter muß man dann zu Fuß zurück legen. Von ganz oben hat man einen tollen Rundumblick.
You can get there by car until just before the waiting area. The last stretch is on a gravel road. You then have to walk the last 250 meters. From the top you have a great all-round view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne Wanderung von Stainz aus mit meinem Enkelkind. Zur Zeit ist die Warte gesperrt. Wir wandern sicher zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nochmal hin.
Nice hike from Stainz with my grandchild. The waiting room is currently closed. We will definitely hike there again at a later date.
