Dabei wurden einige Bauten angelegt, die leider weder architektonisch noch von der Funktion her ansprechend wären. Concrete, concrete, concrete wherever you look. Unfortunately, the Mur was ruined and torn from nature in order to make it "playable". In the process, some buildings were put in place, which, unfortunately, would be neither architecturally nor functionally appealing.
J	Jakob Batek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Bootshaus dient dem Kanu Club Graz und dem GKC Wikinger als feste Bleibe und erste Anlaufstelle für jene, die entweder in den Kanusport eintauchen wollen oder schon viele Touren auf dem Wasser absolviert haben! Es ist mit einer Kraftkammer, einem großen Bootslager, neuen sanitären Einrichtungen und einer Teeküche, sowie einer kleinen Sauna ausgestattet. Ins Wasser kommt man über eine Rampe oder über recht steile Stufen - von hier aus kann man entgegen der Strömung zur Hauptbrücke paddeln oder Richtung Süden in den Stausee seine Runden drehen. Für Vereinsmitglieder gibt es Verleihboote vor Ort. Die Mitgliedschaft bei einem der beiden Vereine zahlt sich mehr als aus!! The boathouse serves the Canoe Club Graz and the GKC Wikinger as a permanent home and first point of contact for those who either want to immerse themselves in canoeing or have already completed many tours on the water! It is equipped with a weight room, a large boat store, new sanitary facilities and a tea kitchen, as well as a small sauna. You can get into the water via a ramp or quite steep steps - from here you can paddle against the current to the main bridge or do your laps south in the reservoir. For club members there are rental boats on site. Membership in one of the two clubs more than pays off!!
