★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein Muss am Wolfgangsee -> Unvergesslicher Ausblick ins Salzkammergut und deren Seen...am besten immer die erste(n) Züge am morgen nehmen, sonst sind diese sehr überfüllt.
ACHTUNG: Fährt bei Schnee und schlechter Witterung (regulär ab Mai) nur bis zur Schafbergalm, von dieser leider eine nicht so gute Aussicht!
 A must at Wolfgangsee -> Unforgettable view of the Salzkammergut and its lakes ... it is best to take the first train (s) in the morning, otherwise they are very crowded.
ATTENTION: In case of snow and bad weather (regular from May) only drives to the Schafbergalm, unfortunately not a good view!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es ist wunderbar mit der schon historischen Schafbergbahn....manchmal auch unter Dampf....auf den Berg hinauf zu fahren.Dort oben angekommen hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die Berge und den Seen der Umgebung. Eine Gastronomie ist vorhanden und bietet allerlei Schmankerl. Auf- und Abfahrt kann man an der Talstation lösen. 2 Stunden auf dem Berg sollten eingeplant werden.
It is wonderful to take the historic Schafbergbahn ... sometimes under steam ... to go up the mountain, where you have a wonderful view of the mountains and the surrounding lakes. A restaurant is available and offers all kinds of delicacies. Ascent and descent can be solved at the valley station. 2 hours on the mountain should be planned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Modern well maintained locomotives, so clean you could eat a meal off them, however the carriages are cramped. Long queue even though booked ahead. The ascent and descent offer spectacular views. Quite expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a contradictory experience - the train is nice, view from summit where you get is incredible but on the way back our train got broken and we spent around one hour standing in the middle of the route - no apologies no explanations from the administration ??♀️ that was really frustrating
