I enrolled in this course for 8 weeks for a total of € 1400 which was recommended to me by the AMS, saying that they are the best at teaching German for beginners, but this was not the case. I begin the course A1 is a bad start, the professor explains the German grammar in English, I wonder how a person who does not speak English can understand the lessons ?! after 3 weeks and completed the course A1 / b they made me skip a course by sending me in a more advanced course, asking for clarifications told me that the number of participants was insufficient, in other words they did not want to pay a salary to another professor and then you they send in an advanced class. I have been forced to flee from this university, because of the lack of seriousness and professionalism, shameful among other things that they also charge the university car park, I do not think it happens in the third world. if at this university they are the best at explaining I don't want to imagine what they teach you in the worst schools.

Took this class twice and I got to B2b level. Both of the times I met extraordinary teachers who knew how to make the lessons themselves fun and have taught also some cultural aspects of Austria, besides teaching the language itself. Here I have learned also the most important lesson about languages: practice and don't be afraid of getting ashamed of mistakes.

My “German in Austria” experience in Klagenfurt finished two weeks ago and I will never forget all the beautiful moments. All was perfect, from the school to the accommodation. Lessons took place from Monday to Friday and were very well organized. They were divided in different parts: grammar, listening, speaking, reading, phonetics and games. This made learning German a lot easier. I stayed in Studentenheim Concordia which was the perfect combination of being independent and being able to stay with others (I highly recommend the bike rent with the apartment). Concordia is very well located, half way between the lake, the university, the shops and the city center. Last but not least the free time activities (Freizeitprogramm) organized by the special Freizeit Team were fantastic. We had the opportunity of experiencing the real life and traditions of Austria. I really had a lot of fun learning German and making special new friends that will remain in my heart! Thank you Klagenfurt for everything and Bis Bald.

This trip was honestly incredible for both my language skills and confidence. The lectures were inspiring and insightful, as they helped improve our German ability. Thanks to Christa Udell and Andrea Pirker, I was given this opportunity to explore the the town of Klagenfurt and experience its sheer beauty. I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in improving their German or just simply experiencing the culture of Klagenfurt.

Highly recommended experience. Everything is perfectly organised, starting from the first day until the last one. In your group the atmosphere that creates is unique, the professors are great and well prepared, you talk about a wide range of topics; every aspect of the German language is taken into consideration. Of course your language improvement is a guarantee! Last but not least, the free time activities are highly recommended too. You are supported by the best team ever, local guys who introduce you to the Klagenfurt life! That's one of the best aspects of your stay: you practise your German while you know other people and other cultures, as well as having a lot of fun! Sports, trips and study, movement and committment are the perfect match and they are a synonym of Klagenfurt, of what you experience here. I feel very satisfied!

This course was very helpful and useful, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their German language. It really helped me to improve my grammar and vocabulary, as well to develop my confidence in speaking, which is something that I have always struggled. The teachers are well prepared, patient and they are really invested on you during the course. Thank you, Prof. Thomas, for patiently encouraging me to speak German and to further improve language skills. In addition, they offer a lot of free-time activities (Freizeitprogramm), which really boosted the whole experience for me. They were organized very carefully and helped you to practice the German language, while making new friends as well as having a lot of fun. Thank you, Martin, for always being so kind. You are the best! ? Last but not least, the administration staff are very helpful as well. Monica and Andrea are very friendly and welcoming.

They offer intensive German language course, in both short period (2 or 3 weeks) and longer term, super nice teacher and effective courses. I was taking B1-B2 courses here and that was really challenging but extremely helpful for my grammar, listening comprehension, writing and speaking skills. Moreover, during Summer they offer tons of after-school activities, which almost happens everyday and Saturday! Those includes city tour, wandering in nature and lots of sports, and of course people will speak and practice German meanwhile, which should be a big boost for every language learner. Thanks to the best teacher Thomas, and best event coordinator Martin. :D
