Es gilt, ihre Bedeutung stets, im Kontext der Geschehnisse, im Wandel der Gesellschaft und auch der Begriffe selbst, im Auge zu behalten. Worte wie Freiheit, Gleichheit, Gerechtigkeit und Solidarität haben heute zwar eine andere Bedeutung als zur Gründung der Sozialdemokratie - nichts desto trotz sind es Werte, für die es sich zu kämpfen lohnt! Unsere globale Welt dreht sich immer schneller. Schön für diejenigen, die es schaffen, diese ungeheuren Möglichkeiten, die sich daraus für sie ergeben, zu nützen. Doch nicht alle Menschen können bei diesem rasanten Tempo ohne Unterstützung mithalten. Wir sehen es als unsere Pflicht, sowohl die Rahmenbedingungen für die wirtschaftlichen Möglichkeiten der einen zu schaffen, als auch die Schwächeren zu fördern und zu unterstützen. Für uns ist eine Gesellschaft kein "Markt" und Menschen sind keine "Kostenfaktoren". Wenn Sie unsere Werte teilen, und die SPÖ - Hernals in ihrer politischen Arbeit unterstützen möchten, können Sie bei uns Mitglied werden. Als neues SPÖ-Mitglied werden Sie schnell merken, dass Politik ohne Diskussion und Mitbestimmung für uns undenkbar ist. Social Democracy is the largest political movement in Austria and the Vienna SPÖ the largest city party in Europe. The fundamental values to which we are committed are freedom, equality, justice and solidarity. We take these values very seriously. It is important to keep an eye on their meaning, in the context of events, in the transformation of society and also the concepts themselves. Words such as freedom, equality, justice, and solidarity have a different meaning today than they are to the founding of social democracy - nevertheless, these are values worth fighting for! Our global world is turning faster and faster. Good for those who manage to take advantage of these tremendous opportunities that result for them. But not all people can keep up at this rapid pace without support. We see it as our duty to create the framework conditions for the economic possibilities of the one as well as to promote and support the weaker ones. For us a society is not a "market" and people are not "cost factors". If you want to share our values and support the SPÖ - Hernals in their political work, you can join us.
