The shelves are often short of products, returning an out of date perishable item is frowned at, efficiency at the tills is poor and waiting time at the same is unacceptable. Maybe an explanation can be found in how poorly employees are treated in big companies.

So worst case scenario, you still have alternatives if you don't find what you were looking for. Staff: friendly, helpful. Clean: it appears to be normal clean and they obey the current Covid19 rules. You can ask for a facemask at the entrance if you need one.
