Very friendly hosts, great food and a great location of the hut! We felt 100% comfortable and will definitely visit the hut again if it comes up.

Great location, with extremely nice very hard-working operators. Camp beds are clean and nice and wide. There is only cold water but OK. Absolutely go there.

Uns erwartete eine sehr nette Wirtsfamilie, und gute Hausmannskost! Bitte unbedingt als Dessert den weltbesten Kaiserschmarrn von der Hüttenwirtin Birgit probieren!!! Da die Atmosphäre so schön war, blieben wir sogar spontan, auch noch über Nacht. We recently visited the Sonnschienhütte with our two boys (9 and 10 years old) after a great snowshoe hike in a fantastic winter setting! A very nice host family awaited us, and good home cooking! Please make sure to try the world's best Kaiserschmarrn for dessert from the landlady Birgit!!! Since the atmosphere was so nice, we even stayed spontaneously, even overnight.
