★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've booked this hotel and paid 3 months ago, but the hotel owner decided to cancel my booking 2 days before my arrival, which causes my travel plan to be changed impromtously.
Hotel owner just mentioned overbooking happens, I do not know why a customer already paid 3 months ago had to be penalized this way. Really bad experience as I have to take rearrange again on my travel day, wasted my train ticket to bad ischl (as I have to reschedule), subjected to other hotel that charge more as I'm too late to book.
Please refrain from booking this hotel if you dont wants such mishap happens during your travel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasantly surprised. Where looking for a convenience stop. We liked the format very much. Coffee, tea, coco at leisure breakfast a short stroll into the wonderful old center. A really chilli garden with comfy seating and even a near complete kitchen no oven.
We enjoyed the stay be sure to visit Zauner and try a Zauner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is very close to the central bus station (Bahnhof) and town center. From the outside the hotel looks classy and old-styled, but in a good way. Everything is clean and disinfected before arrival. The rooms are total opposite from the outside, it is modern and most of the stuff is new. Owner and staff are polite. Wi-Fi is also available and it works well.
