Brilliant service and unbelievable people who understand a skier needs

We used Skibex in late Feb 2017 based on recommendations and research and we were impressed from the outset with the quality and upkeep of the equipment. Also, I cannot speak highly enough about the service, which was amazing. We we served by Spanish Chris and nothing was too much trouble. Not only did he give us first class service with regards to making sure the equipment was right for us, he also took the time out to tell us about places to go and others we should avoid. There were also several great recommendations for Apres too. It is said that you can always judge a shop best when things go wrong and on this occasion, I had problems with my binding release. I went back and Chris could not have been more helpful. Rather than just tighten them up and send me on my way, he really wanted to understand if there was a problem with my equipment. On this occasion, it was a simple misunderstanding regarding weight and the problem was quickly identified and fixed, but nevertheless, I was impressed with the attention to detail. One thing that also impressed me is that no matter how busy the shop became, everyone always received a warm welcome and they were excellent at multi-tasking, so nobody ever seem to be standing around waiting for long. Overall, this is a first class establishment, with first class service. Chris was amazing, but everyone else in the shop was really pleasant and accommodating. Rental prices are on par for the areas and goods to buy were not extortionately expensive as you often find in resort. My wife bought a pair of goggles which she could have got for about £15 less on Amazon, but the service we received more than justified the slight premium, as again the attention to detail was amazing - Chris didn't want to sell just any pair of goggles and would not have sold a pair that was not right, even if that meant losing a potential sale.

The best ski rental shop experience ever! We've been renting equipment in many places in Europe, USA and Canada, but never had such amazing experience. Chris, Alex and other guys have been providing tremendous service, and accommodating all requests. Wonderful! Thank you!

We went to almost every rental place in Lech and these guys were the best priced. But they were also the nicest people, as well as knowledgeable, friendly and had a great selection of skis. But It gets better.... I couldn’t mount my touring boots to their skis and the rental boots they had were too soft for me, it was looking like it was going to be a miserable few days of skiing for me - but they went in the back and opened a brand new pair of ski boots with 130 flex! Incredible!!

Top quality ski gear and great value too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's really well located just opposite the Oberlech cable car.
