SISSI SUITES | luxury apartments

We were staying here during the New Year week of 2019. The brand new two bedroom apartment was spacious and modern and looked cool. The kitchen was well equipped. All appliances were in order. It was warm in the apartment. The showers had glass splash guards, not plastic curtains which tend to stick to your back! And the shower stalls were spacious, too. I hate it when sometimes if you drop a shampoo bottle you cannot pick it up because the shower stall is so small and you cannot even bend over ). The huge bonus was a guaranteed space in the underground parking. Note there is probably some malfunction when you pass the parking door it does not close by itself. You have to pay attention and close it, or it will stay open. There is an elevator and a good ski locker room. Wifi was good, too. There was some compliment starter stuff prepared for us, like dishwasher tablets, a sponge, liquid soap, kitchen towels, enough shampoo and toilet paper for the stay, salt, sugar, and even some cookies and drinking water, so you don't have to run to the shop on your first day. For some reason, there was even daily room service. The check in was easy. You have to go first to the nearby Elisabeth hotel (there's a parking lot on the right of the hotel) and then to their Reception. Then the girl showed us the parking and the apartment. Drawbacks? I should mention some minor stuff. There were no shelves and no hooks for clothes at the entry. We had to put our gloves, helmets, etc. on the floor. Also there was no dish drying rack in the kitchen, so we had to improvise. Regarding the location, it is good even if not perfect. If you are a skier, the apartments are somewhat away from the penken lift to walk there in ski boots. We ended up renting a ski locker box at the top of the penken lift. But if you are a boarder, you can easily walk to the penken lift or even to the ahorn lift. The apartments are within a few minutes walk from restaurants and shops. I can well recommend these apartments if you like the area. We did not quite like the ski area, to be honest. It should be better in a less busy week though.
