★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They sold me my tickets ar exactly 10:54. They did not offer a specific time to tour or ask me a preference. Just handed me my tickets which listed a 10:50 start time. This was undoable due to the fact that the 10:50 tour had already moved out, not to mention the fact that my partner was still changing her shoes and not ready. We would have had to sprint to catch up. Anyway, we waited patiently for the next tour which happened to be at 11:10 (remember, they never gave me a choice for times). When we finally geared up with our coat and hard hat and progressed to the start point we were asked for our tickets. The guided attempted to tell me I could not go as my tickets were for 10:50. After a minute or two of arguing and showing a receipt of time of purchase, he relented and let us in. Disappointing behavior, to say the least, and left for a dour initial impression. The guide also informed me that the tour was in "German only", as if that would discourage me from going on an already purchased event. His statement was also untrue, as there are numerous stations around the tour that offer information in several languages, including English and Italian.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely a must-do activity of it fits in you agenda. Couple of things:
You get a raincoat and a hard hat but need something warm under it, like a softshell or thick sweater.
You need to be fine with confined spaces.
The tour is in German, you need to download an app beforehand for other languages.
Total time spend there is 90mins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dark, tight, cold and rainy inside the mine, but absolutely worth the visit. Pay attention at entering and leaving the rail cars. Take your children also, they will love it too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very Nice and impressie to be so deep in the Mountain and hear de Fantastic Stories about Everything what happens deep down. The audio Translation devices didn't always work (to noisy) but the Guide translate. It starts with a very fast train ride deep into the Mountain which is an Adventure on itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family went there Tuesday July 20, 21. We purchased tickets and the Burnette in the gift shop was incredibly rude and sarcastic, my kids even commented on how rude she was. The tour guide was a man and he was amazing, very enthusiastic with his job, great stories. Unfortunately something happened with the cart or track and we were refunded our tickets and were given a gift, again the gift shop lady was being incredibly rude.
We went back this morning and 2 other ladies were in the gift shop and they were very nice, and very helpful.
Our tour guide was a young lady and she was very great at her job, the whole tour was incredible, a once in a lifetime experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is absolutely fantastic! It was nothing like what I expected.. It begins with a train ride in a small tunnel (if you're claustrophobic, this is NOT the place for you!) and then a tour inside the mine. The place itself is fascinating, and the staff is super friendly.
The tour is in German only, but they give you access to an app which has all the explanations in a variety of languages. It's highly recommended to bring headphones.
