★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First going up with the cable-way. Then a 2 hours easy walk. Our 4 year old daugther walked everything by herself. There are some good gasthauses on the way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great walk to the lake. Very beautiful lake. We walked it with 8,6,4 year old. It wasn't easy for them but they enjoyed. Especially the snow near the lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place. Very easy to get there, by foot or bike. Just bring enough water. While there are many small streams and waterfalls, it's difficult to say if that water is safe to drink, as there's also cattle grazing everywhere. The only place you can buy water from has prices that might be considered high, a small bottle of water was like 4€.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get the cable car from Ehrwald and then then hike is around 2 hours each way. Don't expect to get the place to yourself though as it's quite busy in the summer. You can hire a bike near the top of the cable car which makes it a little easier.
The water is crystal clear and the views are stunning

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice 90 minute hike up from the the Ehrwalder Alm along some great forest paths. Going up from here to the Coburger hütte takes 30 minutes of strenuous hiking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made a winter mountain tour in February 2022 with Snowshoes from Ehrwald up to "Drachenstein" and it was amazing!
Very beautiful landscape!
But steep hills and avalanche equipment in winter absolutely needed ☝?
I will re-do in summer ??
Coburger Hütte was closed.
