We were looking for a local restaurant to tty some wiennese food and our airbnb host suggested this place. We had schnitzel and boiled beef+potatoes. Honestly all of the hype around wiennese schnitzel.. it's good but I think there is nothing special about it. Beef dish was definitely better. Staff is friendly and nice atmosphere. I'd recommend this place for people who want to stay away shiny touristy places and try local tastes. Keep in mind that this place is CASH ONLY!

Very nice place for brunch. They had menu card in English too. The breakfast was amazing. The place is easily accessible by metro. We were lucky to have a sunny day, so we relaxed and enjoyed good food and good sun

UK tourist. Great vibe. Nice food, nice staff. Normal clientele Was the cheapest and best place we ate in Vienna

A nice restaurant with typical and non-typical food, we were on the terrace which offers a view on the street so not amazing. But the food was really good and cheap (for two meals and two pints: 28€!!). They offer only local beers (except for the Czech Kozel beer haha!). I had home-made cheese spaetzel with a salad and it was huge. The waitor was really nice and helpful. They had a problem with their ordering system so our meal was a bit late but they apologised and as I said, it was really good! Make sure to have some cash with you, they don't accept cards!

Nice reataurant with a lovely atmosphere. We didn’t have to wait long for our food and it was very tasty. Really liked the Apfelstrudel dessert. I wish staff had paid us a bit more attention. Despite low volume of customers, I had to wait a bit before I could wave somebody down for another order.

Went here for a quick lunch. Had a Viennese goulash which was pretty good. The flavors were nice and the potatoes were nice and soft. The staff was alright. Kind of indifferent. The waiter did mentioned that tip is not included when I was paying and even underlined the 10-20% with a pen that was written on the receipt. I don't mind paying tip, but it felt a bit forced. Also, the place seems to be very popular among old people? I mostly saw old people with their grandkids at the tables ? Prices were fair and it's cash only

We had Käsespätzle, which was incredible and the schnitzel was also very good! Also, the staff is very friendly and warm.

We ordered a lamb burger and a Käsespätzle for every 2 people. The food tasted very well and the dishes were big. The price was alright, standard for the city. The only bad thing I would highlight is the staff, they were not welcoming at all. I would not say they were rude, but they definitely were not very nice. The one that served us barely spoke English, I tried my best to speak German and instesd of speaking slowly he would speak really fast and get kind of mad when asked him to repeat again.... On top of all that he got very mad when we did not want to give him a tip. In my homecountry tips are deserved, the customer must not give it unless he believes the waiter has done a good job. Howvñever we now know that it is almost compulsory to give tip here even if the service is precarious. I recommen this place, though.
