Wunderschöner Blick über den Ort oder zu Wiese und Wald mit viel Ruhe. So richtig zum Wohlfühlen. An insider tip in the Dachstein Mountains with a very nice interior, very nice hosts, very nice location a little bit outside. Wonderful view over the place or to meadow and forest with a lot of peace. Really to feel good.

L	Loreen Ehrlich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Schneckenhaus in Rußbach - in kleiner Geheimtipp zwischen Salzburg und Salzkammergut, in dem man sich wie zuhause fühlen kann. Das Haus liegt etwas oberhalb des ruhigen Ortes Rußbach in idyllischer Lage inmitten der Natur. Der Ort ist fußläufig zu erreichen und es gibt auch eine kleine Möglichkeit zum Einkaufen, größere Supermärkte sind in den Nachbarorten zu finden. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man direkt zu Fuß zur Wanderung starten oder per Bike die Umgebung erkunden. In einer halben bis einer Stunde sind viele Highlights der Region per Auto oder Bahn zu erreichen. Mit dem Tennengau Ticket kann man auch Salzburg von Golling sehr entspannt per Bahn besuchen. Unser Appartment ist liebevoll, modern, hochwertig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, es fehlte nix wie so oft in Ferienwohnungen. Von den zwei Balkonen hat man je nach Wetterlage und Tageszeit einen wunderschönen Ausblick und kann dort auch gemütlich sitzen. Eva und Norbert sind sehr herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber - angefangen von der persönlichen Begrüßung und an der Küchenwand :), selbst hergstellte Konfitüre, Seifen, Zirbenholzkissen bis hin zu frisch gebackenen Hefegebäck, welches vor unserer Tür stand. Sie hatten sehr hilfreiche Tipps für Ausflüge, Wanderungen und kulinarische Highlights. Kurzum, wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Urlaub im Schneckenhaus und bedanken uns für die besondere Gastfreundlichkeit bei Eva und Norbert !!! The snail shell in Rußbach - a little insider tip between Salzburg and Salzkammergut, where you can feel at home. The house is located a little above the quiet village of Rußbach in an idyllic location in the middle of nature. The place is within walking distance and there is also a small opportunity for shopping, larger supermarkets can be found in the neighboring towns. You can start the hike directly from the accommodation or explore the area by bike. Many highlights of the region can be reached by car or train in half an hour to an hour. With the Tennengau Ticket you can also visit Salzburg from Golling very relaxed by train. Our apartment is lovingly, modern, high quality and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, nothing was missing, as is so often the case in holiday apartments. Depending on the weather and the time of day, you have a wonderful view from the two balconies and can also sit comfortably there. Eva and Norbert are very warm and attentive hosts - starting with the personal greeting and on the kitchen wall :), homemade jam, soaps, stone pine pillows and freshly baked yeast pastries, which stood in front of our door. They had very helpful tips for excursions, hikes and culinary highlights. In short, we had a very relaxed holiday in the Schneckenhaus and thank Eva and Norbert for the special hospitality!

Das Schneckenhaus war ein Glückgriff für uns - ab von den Touristenmassen, aber man hat in der Umgebung alles, was man braucht und Russbach ist ein guter Ausgangsort für Wanderungen. Die Wohnung ist mit Liebe und Bedacht eingerichtet, mit gerade so vielen Details, dass es gemütlich ist, aber mit genug Luft zum Atmen. Apropos, das Schlafzimmer duftet wunderbar dezent und waldig durch das Kopfteil aus Zirbenholz! Überhaupt ist die Ausstattung sehr gut und hochwertig. Wir hatten noch nie so amtliche Messer in einer Ferienwohnung :-) Eva war eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin - präsent und herzlich, aber unaufdringlich. Sie hatte richtig gute Tipps für Wanderungen und andere Highlights. Den Kräutergarten nutzen zu können, war auch klasse. Unser Aufenthalt ist schon ein paar Wochen her, aber ich schwärme immer noch davon. Perfect place to relax! The snail shell was a stroke of luck for us - away from the tourist crowds, but you have everything you need in the area and Russbach is a good starting point for hikes. The apartment is furnished with love and care, with just enough details to make it cozy, but with enough air to breathe. Speaking of which, the bedroom smells wonderfully subtle and woody thanks to the headboard made of stone pine! In general, the equipment is very good and of high quality. We have never had such official knives in a holiday apartment :-) Eva was a very attentive host - present and warm, but unobtrusive. She had really good tips for hikes and other highlights. Being able to use the herb garden was great too. It's been a few weeks since we were here, but I still rave about it.

Gut geschnittenes Appartment mit liebevoller moderner Einrichtung und 2 Balkone haben unser Urlaub in dieser wundervollen Gegend zu einem Highlight unserer Urlaubserlebnisse in den letzten Jahren gemacht. Im Schneckenhaus muss man sich einfach wohlfühlen. Brötchenservice, Möglichkeit der Mitnutzung des Naturbadeteiches, Tischtennisplatte, Lagerfeuermöglichkeit und Verfügbarkeit von Grillmöglichkeiten runden alles ab. Vielen Dank nochmal an Eva und Norbert!!! Fantastic accommodation with super friendly hosts. Well-designed apartment with lovingly modern furnishings and 2 balconies have made our vacation in this wonderful area a highlight of our vacation experiences in recent years. You just have to feel good in the snail shell. Bread roll service, the possibility of sharing the natural swimming pond, table tennis, the possibility of a campfire and the availability of barbecue facilities round off everything. Appartment ist stilvoll eingerichtet mit liebevollen Details. Alle wichtigen Küchenutensilien, die man oftmals selbst mitbringen muss waren bereits vorhanden. Der Garten bot zudem eine schöne kulinarische Abwechslung. Durch die Anhöhe hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf den Ort und die Berge. Nach hinten raus kann man unbeobachtet sitzen und die Natur genießen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! We had an uncomplicated arrival thanks to the key box in the late evening and found everything very clean and as good as new. The apartment is stylishly furnished with lovely details. All the important kitchen utensils that you often have to bring with you were already there. The garden also offered a nice culinary change. Through the hill you have a great view of the place and the mountains. At the back you can sit unobserved and enjoy nature. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. We felt very comfortable!
G	Gergely Szijjarto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schneckenhaus is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday in the Austrian Alps: a neatly equipped, comfortable apartment (the mattress was just perfect for us) at a beautiful location, close to all the great spots that the region can provide, both in summer and winter. The hosts, Eva and Norbert are very friendly and helpful, paying attention to even the tiniest detials that can make a holiday perfect, e.g. sending the Tennengau card (free bus service + many more) right to our mobile, or placing a handmade natural soap in the bathroom, providing card payment option and free access to their beautiful garden lake for swimming etc. We will return one day for sure!

Kitchen is equipped very well, every room is spacious and friendly. Garden is beautiful, even we could eat some vegetables from there. Eva and Norbert are warm-hearted caterers, they gave us home-made delicacies. We felt in Schneckenhaus better than home! We would like to return again. Thanks for the opportunity to spend some day there!
