★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne Wohngegend, nahe am Attersee, leider kein Wirtshaus mehr im Ort. Dafür reges Vereinsleben.
 Nice residential area, close to the Attersee, unfortunately no tavern more in place. For active club life.

das größte Dorf im Gemeindegebiet von Vöcklamarkt. Schmidham war von jeher durch bäuerliche Struktur geprägt. In den letzten Jahrzehnten, stellten aber immer mehr Landwirtschaften den Betrieb ein und seit ca. 2 Jahren gibt es keine Landwirtschaft mehr. Seit der Dorferneuerung 2008-2010 ist Schmidham eines der schönsten Dörfer in der Region und hat sich mit der jährlichen "Schmidhamer Kellerroas" , weit über den Bezirk hinaus bekannt gemacht.
