Es gehört dem Industriellen Herbert Liaunig und ist deshalb leider nicht öffentlich zugänglich, außer zum jährlichen Festival Suha. The Neuhaus Castle above the roofs of the small town, along with the Liaunig Museum, is probably the symbol of the community. It belongs to the industrialist Herbert Liaunig and is therefore unfortunately not open to the public, except for the annual Suha Festival.

Nachdem Schloss Neuhaus kurzzeitig im Besitz von Stift Admont stand, erwarb es im Jahre 1988 der Wirtschaftsfachmann Herbert Liaunig, um hier seinen privaten Wohnsitz zu gründen und seine Kunstsammlung stilecht unterzubringen. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit wurden mit Millionenaufwand nach den Plänen des Architekten Günther Domenig umfangreiche Renovierungs- und Umbauarbeiten durchgeführt, die im Jahre 1992 abgeschlossen wurden. After many changes of ownership (among others it belonged to the family Edle von Webenau from 1821 to 1863 and from 1904 to 1910 Franz Kupelwieser, the grandson of the painter Leopold Kupelwieser) the castle was from 1954 in the possession of Kajetan Wutte. After Schloss Neuhaus was temporarily owned by Admont Abbey, in 1988 the business expert Herbert Liaunig acquired it to found his own private residence and to house his art collection in style. Within a very short time, extensive renovations and renovations were carried out at the expense of the architect Günther Domenig, which were completed in 1992.
