Viele Besitzer und eine bewegte Geschichte über die Jahrhunderte kennzeichnen diese Kleinod. Heute befindet sich das Schloss im Besitz der Gemeinde Katzesldorf und es wird als Veranstaltungszentrum genutzt. Besonders bemerkenswert ist der im Advent stattfindende Weihnachtsmarkt!
 The first castle was built here in the 12th century. It got its present form in the 17th century. Many owners and an eventful history over the centuries characterize this gem. Today the castle is owned by the municipality of Katzesldorf and it is used as an event center. Particularly noteworthy is the Christmas market that takes place in Advent!
