Beautiful castle in a great location. You cannot just visit it as it is a hotel, but it is beautiful to see.

We celebrated our wedding in the castle and I have to say, it was beautiful. From support on the wedding day itself to breakfast the next day everything was perfect. The contact for the planning of the festival was also good. The term fairytale wedding became reality here.

I have lived in many castles in Europe, but rarely live in castles with a history of more than 700 years. When we arrived at the castle, the owner of the castle would very kindly lead us to introduce the history of the castle and how to get to the room where we stayed that night. The entrance to the room was very special. We had to go through the bottom of the castle and take the elevator to the accommodation. On the floor, the accommodation on the accommodation floor is the accommodation of the ancient European castle. From the corridor, the master bedroom, the second bedroom, the restaurant to the bathroom, you can really experience the most luxurious life in Europe. It’s great to let us Asians really realize the way to experience life in ancient Europe. The breakfast here is rich and varied, giving us a great experience and a great meal. The service attitude part, from the owner of the castle, the wife to the service staff, gave us any kind of assistance very kindly, especially when we went out early in the morning, we saw that the old lady was very elegant and slow to take care of the flowers at the door, and saw that we were going out. Elegantly chatting with us, let us once again experience the European aristocratic lifestyle. All in all, this is a great and impressive stay experience, I am willing and believe that we will come back to this castle again.

Ancient castle (dating back to 1230, when it was only a tower, surrounded by walls ...) built on a hill fortified since before the Romans. It was owned by some of the oldest noble families (from the founders, the counts of Andechs, to the current owners, the Trapp nobles). It was disputed in the wars between Tyrol and Bavaria and also in some local uprisings. For about 150 years it has been owned by the Trapp nobles, who reside there and have restored it with great care ("modernizing" it in part ...). It was also used in some follow-up television series. Today it is an excellent hotel, also used for meetings and weddings.
