During the Christmas holidays we had booked a ski course for our 4 year old son. 3 days, 2 hours each. The duration was optimal for him. A big minus was that we had to buy a lift ticket for every day. On the 1st day my husband was in line for 45 minutes, so on the 2nd and 3rd day he drove etxra to Hochficht at 8 a.m. to buy the ticket, then back 15 km and then up again with us 1 hour later , At € 120 it should be possible for the ski school to organize lift tickets for your course participants lasting several days. A small minus was that the ski instructor was different on the 2nd day than on the 1st day. With such small dwarfs this is not optimal. The group allocation was somewhat confused. My suggestion for improvement: fixed meeting points with clear identification of who has to go where. All in all our son liked it and it was a good first approach.

We were not at the ski school but we have customers at their own ski rental. Are super satisfied with the service and quality! Super nice people very friendly and helpful. Price management was also optimal.

At the beginning, our boys did more badly than really blue slopes, after the course all slopes were safe. They had fun too, everything was great.

I can only speak from my experience on the phone, as unfortunately my child did not get a place. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and bossy. She only had to tell me succinctly that she had no place for our daughter and didn't have to give me a 15-minute lecture about Corona. After reading the reviews here I'm glad my daughter didn't get a place. I think it's better for us that way. At the Jakob ski school in Niederbayern (other side of Hochficht) they were much friendlier.

I can't really recommend the ski school. It is unstructured and not very child friendly, especially for the little ones who have never skied. Ski instructors do not introduce themselves, there is not even a greeting. Many children didn't feel like it anymore by the third day. I share the bad previous reviews. The boss made a particularly negative impression. It's the only ski school there and they seem to be aware of the monopoly...

Very rude on the phone. Wanted to inform us about the possibilities and then make a registration. The gentleman on the phone kept interrupting me and had zero understanding that we didn't know anything about skiing and children. After that it was clear that we would not send our son. Too bad snow doesn't seem to be the only problem in certain ski areas....

I've never written a bad review in my life as I always felt that experiences are personal and objective. However, this particular experience is very much deserving of my first bad review. This was probably the worst service experience I have ever experienced, not just the worst ski school experience, but the worst overall customer service experience, ever!. I have never met such, uncooperative, inflexible, unempathetic, greedy, and short sighted people in my my life. Where to start.... We booked ski lessons for our 3 kids, (8,6, 3.75) 3 months before the date. We arrive on the first day at 9.45am for a lesson at 10am, kids fully booted and ready to go. We were told they can't join the group because we're too late and they don't have any space left on the group! We protested that we were 15mins before the start, they told us we had to be 30 mins before the start, it's on their website. I checked, no it's not, not in English anyway. I said I can take them up to the slope to join the group, they said no, there is no space for them. But we reserved these places 3 months ago and you confirmed. No. They had to be there at 9.30.So 2 older kids have no school for the week ??? Now on to the younger one. Amazingly he could join his group! Ok so this isn't all bad I think. The group was 10 kids under age 5 with 2 instructors. Half the kids were crying and you could see the instructors were having a tough time. Full credit to them, I can't fault them. Our kid freaked out after 30 mins and decided he didn't want to do it. Ok set thought, we won't force him. So we pulled him out. 30 mins from 6 hours of paid lessons for the week. Now the fun starts. We went to the office and asked for a refund. NO, you can't have it. Ok can we take today as paid and refund the 2 other days? NO you can't have it. Can we transfer our daughter (middle child) to the lessons? NO you can't. Can we transfer the amount to private lessons and pay the extra? NO you can't. So it was NO, NIEN, NIC, to every possible solution where everyone would be happy and they could even earn more from us. Absolutely unbelievable. They just would not refund, exchange, transfer the cost. They were just brazen and arrogant about keeping the payment. We ended up speaking with 2 other parents from the same group and they had the same issue, which is what prompted me to write this review as it wasn't just an individual experience. I understand kids back out and don't want to do it but you work out a solution which is best for all. After 30 mins on the first day (from 6 hours total paid), you'd think there was some flexibility, but no, none. This is the only official school on site and this is the result of a monopoly. I told them they can expect a poor review and their response was "We don't care, it doesn't effect us". If there was a -10 option on this rating scale I'd give it that. My advice to any potential clients is to find another option. There's a few Czech private teachers on the slopes who take groups and are considerably cheaper than this school. One final thing. They only accept cash payments and don't issue receipts. One would think that when paying €600-700 there would be a card terminal option? Cash payments only is certainly very questionable business practice.
