A	Alex Rei. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nach einem Besuch im Bergwerk Hallstatt bei den Salzwelten war die Kupferzeche ein sehr interessanter Kontrast zu dem "großen" Schaubergwerk. Die Zeche zeigt einem authentisch wie das Schürfen vor 700 Jahren gewesen ist und wie die Menschen damals den Berg mit den verschiedensten Methoden bearbeitet haben. Die Gänge sind schmal, niedrig, dunkel und nass. Im Berg herrschen durchgängig 8°C und überall tropft es herab, deshalb wäre warme, wasserfeste Kleidung von Vorteil. Die Treppen sind steil und schlüpfrig, deswegen ist festes Schuhwerk unverzichtbar. Außerdem muss man auch stets auf seinen Kopf aufpassen, weil alles sehr niedrig ist, aber dafür gibt's einen Helm vor der Führung. Unser Führer war sehr freundlich und hat auch einiges öfters erklärt, da nicht an jeder Stelle an der es etwas zu sehen gab, auch alle aus der Gruppe Platz hatten. Die Themen hat er interessant vorgebracht und Fragen souverän beantwortet. Fazit: Ein sehr interessanter Ort um Geschichte hautnah zu erleben. Wer keine Angst vor dunklen, engen Gängen hat und gut zu Fuß ist, für den ist die Schauchzeche sicher ein gutes Programm im Urlaub. For those who are not afraid of dark, narrow corridors and are good on their feet, the Schauchzeche is definitely a good program on vacation.

Kans op vocht waardoor gladheid onstaat. Zeer mooi om te zien hoe men vroeger te werk ging. Zeker een aanrader. An hour of nothing to do, then go and have a look in this private copper mine. Durch die kleinen Gruppen ist die Besichtigung sehr angenehm und die Erklärungen leicht verständlich da man immer in unmittelbarer Nähe des Erklärenden ist. Auch für Kinder ein sehr spannender und interessanter Besuch. Very interesting visit to the copper mine.
