R	Robin Jahn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Puppenmuseum,welches auch dabei ist, ist eher langweilig. Die Mineralienausstellung und das Bergbaumuseum oberhalb des Schaubergwerkes sind nett angelegt. Die Führung durch das Schaubergwerk dauert rund eine Stunde. (Anstatt der beworbenen zwei Stunden, je nach Gruppengröße). Dafür ist die Führung sehr interessant. Es gibt beispielsweise eine Live Vorführung eines Bohrers. Die Betreiber bemühen sich eine Atmosphäre aufzubauen. Große Personen müssen jedoch acht geben, dass sie sich nicht den Kopf anstoßen. Auf jedenfall einem Besuch wert. Auch für Kinder geeignet The doll museum, which is also there, is rather boring. The mineral exhibition and the mining museum above the mine are nicely laid out. The tour through the mine takes about an hour. (Instead of the advertised two hours, depending on group size). The leadership is very interesting for that. For example, there is a live demonstration of a drill. The operators are trying to build an atmosphere. However, tall people have to be careful not to bang their heads. Definitely worth a visit. Also suitable for children
B	Boulder Pit on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine Führung und der Besuch im Museum ist ein "Muss" für den Aufenthalt. Die Maschinen laufen auch noch. Eine große Sammlung von Mineralien. Die Führung und die Wirtsstube einfach super. A tour and a visit to the museum is a "must" for your stay. The machines are still running. A large collection of minerals. The tour and the pub just great.
S	S. H. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Klein aber fein. Wir hatten mit zwei Kindern (9 +12 Jahre) eine interessante, kurzweilige Führung. Das zugehörige Museum ist für Kinder weniger interessant, unsere Kinder haben sich die Zeit auf dem zugehörigen Spielplatz vertrieben. Schöner Ausflug, wenn das Wetter über Tage mal nicht so gut ist. War auch im Sommer ziemlich kalt, so 7 Grad also warm anziehen ;) Glück auf aus dem Ruhrgebiet! Small but nice. We had with two children (9 +12 years) an interesting, entertaining guide. The museum is less interesting for children, our children have spent their time on the playground. Nice trip, if the weather is not so good over days. Was also in the summer quite cold, so 7 degrees so warm dress Good luck from the Ruhr area!
B	Bettina Fischer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auch beim 2ten Besuch eine der besten Führungen durch ein Bergwerk. In der einen sehr kurzweiligen Stunde wurde viel mit Schmäh erklärt. Sicher hätte man den ganzen Tag reden können, aber mit der einen Stunde ist es auch für die Kinder genau richtig. Am Besten gefällt uns, dass manche Geräte eingeschaltet werden! Nächstes Mal wieder!!! Also on the 2nd visit one of the best guided tours through a mine. In the one very entertaining hour, a lot was explained with abuse. Sure you could have talked the whole day, but with an hour it's just right for the children. What we like best is that some devices are turned on! Next time again!!!
G	Gerben Schut on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessante rondleiding door een oude mijn. Alleen toegang olv een gids. Duurt ongeveer een uur. Groepsgrootte ongeveer 20. Met 1,90m lengte moet je al veel bukken. Helaas is de rondleiding alleen in het Duits. Prima gids. Het is er rond de 8 graden, dus trek iets warms aan. Regenjas en helm zijn verplicht en beschikbaar. Foto's maken geen probleem. Ook toegang tot mineralen museum (interessant) en poppen museum. Met Karinthië card gratis toegang. Gratis parkeergelegenheid, maar niet heel veel. Zeker de moeite waard om deze 2000 jaar oude mijn te bezoeken als je een beetje Duits verstaat. Interesting tour of an old mine. Access only with a guide. Takes about an hour. Group size around 20. With a length of 1.90 m you have to stoop a lot. Unfortunately the tour is only in German. Great guide. It is around 8 degrees, so put on something warm. Raincoat and helmet are mandatory and available. Taking photos is no problem. Also access to mineral museum (interesting) and doll museum. Free admission with Carinthia card. Free parking but not very much. Definitely worth a visit to this 2000 year old mine if you understand some German.
S	Stefan Hosemann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! I've been to a few mines so far but this one really was actually the best. You have to join the one hour tour through the labyrinth and need to wamear helmets at all times. The tour itself is awesome: they actually turn on some of the machines in order to give you a little hint of how working down there actually was. The tour is very kid friendly with a lot of side information on signs just for kids. The Tourguide was really good: he explained everything, how they lived, his stuff worked down there and how hard it was. Prices are not too expensive - a family of 5 pays 23 euros - including entrance tickets for the mineral-museum and the nearby Heinrich Harrer museum. It's actually a must see if you're in the region.
