★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience. From the moment we rode up on our bikes..and it is UP, the atmosphere is everything you could want in a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious, light, exquisitely clean. The showers are wonderfully tiled and heated towel racks. Lovely views from the balcony. The restaurant and bar are well represented. WIne selection is excellent as is pricing. The dinner and breakfast buffet were delicious and beautifully served. After dinner we walked to the top of the castle. The views are amazing ...we oould see the Alps. Nothing is left undone. A perfect stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, fantastic place. Old castle and new hotel places immediately next to castle walls. Rooms were HUGE and extremely nice. Outstanding views. We were on a Danube Bicycle tour and had missed our time to get the shuttle from Grein. The staff made accommodations to get us a ride up he very steep hill and offered to keep the kitchen open so we could have a meal. The next day the cleaning gal helped me use the dryer to dry cycling clothes that got wet in a rain squall. This is service that is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend, you'd be crazy not to stay here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms very very new. Felt like we were the first to stay there. Almost too much space in the room and strange layout. Big balcony with fabulous view. Old castle tower was worth 20min of exploring. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Spa was large and new. 4 stars not 5, because food could have been better and we weren't able to access wifi from our room.
