Easy to reach destination from the mountain station of the Schafbergbahn. Attractive as a stopover or when no longer hikes are possible. Beautiful view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hebben de smokkelaars route gewandeld. Prachtige vergezichten boven op de graad. Niet erg druk. Veel hoogte verschil overbrugd. Sommige stukken wat moeilijk te lopen van wege losse stenen of erg stijl.
Have walked the smugglers route. Beautiful views from the top of the ridge. Not very busy. A lot of height difference bridged. Some parts a bit difficult to walk because of loose stones or very steep.

Small hike, a bit boring and bleak. Unfortunately, the smugglers' path offers nothing special for families with children.

Many tracks eere closed and building works everywhere that are hard to avoid.
Roll on for the ski season and hoping things improve! Especially considering how much further you have to drive to get here.
