★ ★ ★ ★ ★ had dinner with business friends and was rather disappointed. i don't think the interior is cosy, it reminds me more of a tavern. the service was - to put it mildly - factual, but it didn't really answer our questions about ingredients. the food itself was average. in a house of this price range i expect that a medium rare ordered steak isn't medium well. in the usa, every semi-skilled chef at TGI fridays can do that better. in sum, it's very average - also in terms of the performance of the kitchen and the just bearable waiting times. the prices are too high for what's on offer and i don't understand why this place is so hyped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered Sam's Steaks salad, I asked to make it well-done. It was surprisingly great! Very tasty, the meat was fine, not dry at all. That is so uncommon to get well-done meat which is juicy! I would definitely come back. There are fantastic sides! But meat is the best in the city!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best steak house I’ve ever been to in Europe. I am an American and have traveled to Europe on vacation and to visit family many times. I usually enjoy all the great local dishes. One thing I don’t usually order in Germany or Austria is Steak. This steakhouse is definitely comparable to the best steak houses in the USA. I had a 11-12 oz tenderloin and it was cooked perfectly. I assume it was aged before cooking because it was tender. I also enjoyed a shrimp cocktail and some really good potato wedges with sour cream. If your traveling and you want a great American meal with authentic Austrian atmosphere and good Beer. Give this place a try you will be happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was exceptionally good, excellent steaks and very tasty sides. The outside area is such a nice place to be on a warm summer day.
We had a ribeye steak and surf & turf, and both entrées were prepared perfectly (we love rare steaks). The sides were really tatsty, especially the polenta was awesome and so was the spinach risotto that came with the surf & turf.
The only reason that I can't give 5 starts is that service was slow (though very friendly) and we waited more than 1 hour for the food.77

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In short: the food was really good 8/10, but the service has space for improvement 5/10.
THE GOOD:
We really loved to tempura cauliflower as a starter and also the gnocchi and octopus as a main were prepared to a high standard. About what one would expect for the slightly elevated price level.
THE NOT SO GOOD:
Service was a bit slow and inattentive. Just always long enough for us to ask.. is he still coming? Oh and lastly, there were only few vegetarian options, which some might have appreciated more of.
