SALIS - Salzburg International School

Ich bin begeistert, dass es nun auch in Salzburg die Möglichkeit einer internationalen Schule gibt, in der meine Kinder fließend Englisch lernen können. Spannende Klassen mit einigen internationalen Kindern, höchst engagierte Lehrer, die mit voller Motivation dabei sind, die Kinder für das International Baccalaureate (ähnlich wie Matura - nur international und von fast allen Unis akzeptiert) und die öst. Matura vorzubereiten. Kann ich wirklich wärmstens empfehlen.

Die Lehrer sind sehr nett und man bekommt, nach Abschluss nicht nur die österreichische Matura, sondern auch das IB Diplom, mit welchem man in jeder Universität weltweit studieren kann. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass die Schule, das BGZ, allgemein nicht den besten Ruf hat. Ansonsten Super Schule.

Die Möglichkeit neben der österreichischen Matura auch mit einem IB abzuschliessen vereinfacht den Zugang zu einer internationalen Universität. Tolle Schule sehr empfehlenswert!

Eine sehr gute Schule, Lehrer, die einen unterstützen und das coole - man kann zwei Abschlüsse machen und mit dem internationalen kann man auch weltweit studieren. Zudem hat man auch die österreichische Matura. Sehr große Vielfalt an Kulturen und Sprachen - finde ich sehr gut. Auch die Zusatzangebote und Kurse sind sehr interessant und umfangreich. Ich würde die Schule auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, vor allem, wenn man an anderen Ländern und Kulturen interessiert ist oder eine Herausforderung sucht.

have two kids in this school, great value for money (kids get Austrian Zentralmatura/Abitur/Diploma and also the International Baccalaureate from the IBO.org which opens the doors to almost all universities around the world), motivated teachers, good infrastructure, just 100 meter to the railway station (and 4 minutes away from the central train station) - they do not target rich spoiled kids but rather talented ones

I have been a student here since its inception. The teachers there are very professional and educated, making sure us students are perfectly ready for the matura and the IB.

SALIS is a school that allows me to interact with students with other backgrounds and cultures, it broadens my view on the world and allows me to become fluent in English. Therefore, I would definitely recommend this school to all students!

One of the best international schools in Austria. Having had children in elementary, middle and high schools in the Austria, US and South America and in other schools in Salzburg and having attended grad school in the US myself, SALIS is a highlight in education in Salzburg. We were highly impressed with the guidance for incoming students, the outreach of class mates before a student actually begins, the program to meet other students and quickly make friends and the follow up of the teachers. Similar to private schools in the US, the teachers are on top of each student's performance, follow up with the parents individually, and help so that they can perform at their best. The curriculum is rigorous and at times the workload demanding which keeps the kids quite busy but they learn a lot. They seem to love the place even more than the parents. With the attention of the teachers and an international student body with kids from all over the world, it has the feel of an ivy league college for middle- & high schoolers. Looking at cost vs. benefit, this might be the best school in all of Austria. If your kids can get in, take the spot. They will be happy and so will you.
