★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My very good friend who grew up in the area brought me here on a snowy winter Sunday. He told me that it was one of the lesser visited lakes in the area and there was a small handful of visitors. It's stunningly beautiful. The water has a magical aquamarine hue. Just make sure to wear some good shoes, it's a slippery path. :-)
