 A very beautiful chapel which has its own source where also like water in drinking water quality can be taken!

A place of calm with great hiking trails! We kept stopping to refresh ourselves at the stream. The kids loved it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alljährlich treffen sich in der Rot-Kreuz-Kapelle am "Sonntag nach Matthä" (Apostel Matthäus, 21. September) viele Wallfahrer aus Windischgarsten, Unterlaussa und der ganzen Umgebung, um hier zu beten und das heilige Messopfer zu feiern.
Mit dem Wasser aus der hl. Quelle, das hier in der Kapelle fließt, wäscht man sich die Augen.
Every year, many pilgrims from Windischgarsten, Unterlaussa and the surrounding area gather in the Red Cross Chapel on the "Sunday after Matthä" (Apostle Matthew, 21 September) to pray and celebrate the sacred Messopfer.
With the water from the hl. Quelle, who flows here in the chapel, washes his eyes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine sehr schöne und auch nicht ganz alltägliche Kapelle am Wegesrand. Mitten in der Natur und doch so Nahe vom Hengstpass aus erreichbar. Rundherum pure Natur und die Möglichkeit einmal abzuschalten. Hier kann jeder Wanderer einfach mal Inne halten. Einfach ein sehr spiritueller Ort mit einem gewissen Charakter. Das Rote Kreuz am Dach ist hier als wichtiges Merkmal schon von der Ferne aus optimal erkennbar.
A very beautiful and not quite everyday chapel along the way. In the middle of nature and yet so close to the stallion pass. All around pure nature and the opportunity to switch off. Every hiker can simply pause here. Just a very spiritual place with a certain character. The red cross on the roof can be recognized as an important feature from afar.
