★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die zu Klosterneuburg gehörende Katastralgemeinde Kierling wurde im Laufe der Geschichte mehrmals von der Pest heimgesucht. 1679 errichteten die Kierlinger Bürger zu Ehren der Pestheiligen Rosalia eine Steinsäule. Aufgrund zahlreicher Überschwemmungen und Zerstörungen wurde sie versetzt, und 1923 wurde anstelle der alten Pestsäule dieser Rosalienbildstock errichtet. Das Marterl ist aus Sandstein und zeigt auf der Vorderseite ein Relief der Hl. Rosalia und auf der Rückseite eines des Hl. Thaddäus, der besonders als Helfer in verzweifelten Situationen herangezogen wurde.
 The Kathralgemeinde Kierling, belonging to Klosterneuburg, has been plagued by the plague several times in the course of history. 1679 built the Kierlinger citizens in honor of the plague Rosalia a stone pillar. Due to numerous floods and destructions it was relocated, and in 1923 this Rosalienbildstock was built in place of the old plague column. The Marterl is made of sandstone and shows on the front a relief of St. Rosalia and on the back of one of St. Thaddeus, who was especially used as a helper in desperate situations.
