Römersauna - Rüdigergasse 2

A little very familare men only sauna. A nice variation to the standard industriell look of the Berlin saunas. Moderate prices, nice men and you can get some drinks (compared to the boiler in Berlin). The only thing is, that you are allowed to smoke in the bar/relaxing area. As a german you are not used to it anymore.

Sauna is ok... Good staff, good prices, but visitors are elder after 60 I think... chase you any way. Trying to touch you. It seems like they never saw guys.

Clean,modern sauna with a very nice staff. The bar is cool too. I loved the music (some sort of remixes of popular songs) Actualy I am just about to write them an email asking for the playlist. ))

It was my second time in this sauna. Staff was extremly friendly (especially that shift on Sunday evening). Place was clean and well maintained. Free condoms. There were mainly older men, but also some youger ones. Everyone could have some fun :) I will definitely come again.

I visited the sauna on a hot Friday evening in July 2017 and was there from 9-11pm. Good things: sauna is clean and service is polite. Bad things: there were not many people inside in those two hours I visited, up to 20 people were inside none of which were in good physical shape.

I was in the saunas on October 7. It was Saturday. The person who worked at the reception was not polite. It was the one with a whole head and a big stomach. The guests at the bar were drunk and too loud, I asked them to reduce the sound and notify the person . Personality does not work for everyone to be the same and that everyone feels good. The person is not able to hear a constructive criticism or to listen to a different opinion. They are. The sauna has a small cab and is always busy. Personal, one with black hair and a black beard that is obliged to clean the cabin always stopping and watching people have sex. So not serious from him! Shame! Cabs are often occupied and there is little cabin in the sauna. This sauna should be avoided. It's better to look for a more comfortable and better sauna than this. I do not reprogram anyone to this sauna.

Unfortunately, the behavior of the staff can not keep up with the expected international standard of a gay sauna. Further more the hygiene standards leave much to be desired. If the guests towel is dirty due to impurities in the sauna area, the staff wants to collect additional money for the towel change. Guests who complain about it - it happened multiple times this evening - are insulted in a very rude way. There is no trace of courtesy, attention and prudence of the staff - instead they just show frustrated and bored faces and chat at the bar with each other. If something does not fit, the manager is held responsible. To him guests should complain, so the advice of the staff. He comes in the morning - to clean, of course. Leider kann das Verhalten des Personals mit dem mittlerweile zu erwartenden internationalen Standard einer Gay-Sauna nicht mithalten. Auch Hygienestandards lassen zu wünschen übrig. Wenn das Gästehandtuch aufgrund von Verunreinigungen im Saunabereich verschmutzt ist, wird zusätzlich noch Geld für den Handtuchwechsel eingehoben. Gäste, die sich darüber beschweren - es kam am heutigen Abend öfter vor - werden beschimpft. Von Höflichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und Umsicht des Personals fehlt jede Spur - stattdessen sieht man frustrierte und gelangweilte Gesichter der im Barbereich miteinander tratschenden Kellner. Wenn etwas nicht passt, wird der Geschäftsführer verantwortlich gemacht, bei diesem solle man sich beschweren, er komme in der Früh - um zu putzen, bestimmt!

2 Stars cause the staff is nice and the place is clean. 2 Stars because I asked several times for the hands on massage and was given the aqua massage (I didn't know places still offered these?). This place also has a very small wet sauna that fits very few people and therefore has very few people. Unless this is your type of thing, your time and money are probably best spent elsewhere.
