E	Erwin Knoll on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trotz des Rummels der vielen Touristen - vor allem Asiaten - wurden wir sehr freundlich und gut bedient. Der Verlängerte und der Cappuccino, selbstverständlich mit einem Glas Wasser, waren sehr gut. Die Salzburger Nockerln waren optisch sehr schön anzuschauen und wie üblich sehr süß. Das Ambiente war es wert auch ein bisschen tiefer in die Tasche zu greifen. Despite the hype of the many tourists - especially Asians - we were very friendly and well served. The extended and the cappuccino, of course with a glass of water, were very good. The Salzburg dumplings were visually very nice to look at and as usual very sweet. The atmosphere was worth a bit deeper into the bag.

Цены завышены (что еще можно ожидать от самого пафосного места в Санкт Вольфганге, одно имя чего стоит), но ничего особенного в десертах и напитках не оказалось. Десерты из магазина, размороженные. Кофе тоже так себе. Чай, правда, вкусный. Но ожидали большего. The lake view is amazing. Cozy atmosphere. We took desserts with drinks. The prices are overpriced (what else can you expect from the most pretentious place in St. Wolfgang, one name is worth it), but there was nothing special about the desserts and drinks. Desserts from the store, thawed. The coffee is also so-so. The tea is really tasty. But they expected more.

Gut ist die Glaswand zum See, die bei Regen und Wind hochgefahren werden kann. Wohlfühlen ist aber leider nicht eingetreten, man merkt den großen Touristenansturm dann doch ... Food was basically good, but very special menu. Price for St. Wolfgang as expected. The glass wall to the lake, which can be raised in rain and wind, is good. Unfortunately, the feeling of well-being did not occur, you notice the large number of tourists ...

Hausgemachter Apfelstrudel war ok, aber nicht besonders, er ertrank leider in einer Vanillesoße aus der Tüte....schade...wenn man einfach mal da gewesen sein möchte, reicht ein Getränk. Preis-Leistung hier ok. Great view of the Wolfgangsee and the mountains. Service ... yes tried hard, but made an annoyed impression. Homemade apple strudel was ok, but not particularly, unfortunately he drowned in a custard out of the bag .... too bad ... if you just want to be there, a drink is enough. Price performance here ok.

Die Aufteilung des durchwegs freundlichen Personals ( wenn man erst einmal ins Gespräch kommt) über die Zuständigkeit der Gäste ist nicht klar definiert. So wartet man beispielsweise beim Eingang zwischen 5-10 Minuten, wo mit Schild darauf hingewiesen wird, dass man abgeholt und zu Tisch gebracht wird, ohne dass die vorbeigehenden Kellner Augenkontakt mit dem Gast herstellen noch den Gast grüßen. Es fühlt sich niemand wirklich zuständig für den ankommenden Gast. Auch die Aufmerksamkeit der Bedienung nach einem weiteren Getränkewunsch wurde erst nach mehrmaligem Aufzeigen und Rufen erfüllt. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis wird aufgrund der hervorragenden Qualität der Speisen zu 100% erfüllt. Es lohnt dennoch einmal im weissen Rössl einen Stopp einzulegen um den Hauch von früheren Zeiten zu inhalieren und dem bunten Treiben am Wolfgangsee beizuwohnen, denn die Erinnerung bleibt lebendig. Traditional restaurant right on the wonderful Wolfgangsee. The division of the consistently friendly staff (once you start talking) about the responsibilities of the guests is not clearly defined. For example, you wait between 5-10 minutes at the entrance, where a sign indicates that you will be picked up and brought to the table without the waiters passing by making eye contact with the guest or greeting the guest. Nobody feels really responsible for the arriving guest. The attentiveness of the waitress after another request for a drink was only fulfilled after being pointed out and called several times. The price / performance ratio is 100% due to the excellent quality of the food. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to make a stop in the weissen Rössl to inhale the breath of earlier times and to witness the hustle and bustle at Lake Wolfgang, because the memory remains vivid.

The meal description is bare and not really representative of the food. I've ordered Venison Stew and didn't receive what was expected. I wouldn't have ordered if I knew it was going to be a mix of salty/sweet. The pumpkin soup we've ordered wasn't that good either, it was kind of bland and foamy. The seven kinds of dumplings weren't too good either. The main waiter was rude and not really welcoming for a city known for tourism. Maybe it was our fault because we're Young people and their usual clientele is everything but that. Only reason we went there was because our tour guide reccomended it, but I can not.

The ambience is a bit formal with wooden windows and red chairs. The service was first rate and so too the dishes with a price to match of course. Our table ordered beef tartare which was very tasty, and venison steak which came perfect. The fish dish was also great. Ultimate satisfaction. If you want to splurge one time during your holiday here, do it in this restaurant.
