Das Essen war okay aber nicht so toll wie sämtliche Bewertungen es vermuten lassen... Nachdem die Alm überall so hoch gelobt wird war mein Besuch dort eher etwas enttäuschend. Friendliness of the service was okay, unfortunately a lot of food and drinks from the normal lunch time during the summer season during the week. The food was okay but not as great as all the reviews suggest ... After the Alm was so highly praised, my visit there was rather disappointing.

Lediglich auf der Speisekarte vermisse ich ein paar traditionelle Gerichte wie z. B. Tirolergröstl, Schlipfkrapfen oder einen Kaiserschmarrn. Hut in the best panoramic position with very good cuisine and friendly hut staff. Definitely invites you to linger, especially after a mountain tour. Only on the menu do I miss a few traditional dishes such as B. Tirolergröstl, Schlipfkrapfen or a Kaiserschmarrn.

Die Wirtin Lydia verzaubert in völlig unerwartete Art und Weise mit einer hervorragenden mediterranen Küche ihre Gäste. Die Stimmung auf fast 2000 m Höhe am Abend sowie das gemütliche Ambiente in der kleinen Almhütte ist nicht zu übertreffen. Ein absolut kulinarisches Erlebnis von ganz besonderer Art. Noch mal lieben Dank an Lydia für ihre besondere Gastfreundschaft. We were with a small group of seven people in the evening for dinner on the alpine pasture. The landlady Lydia enchants her guests in a completely unexpected way with excellent Mediterranean cuisine. The atmosphere at almost 2000 m in the evening and the cozy ambience in the small alpine hut cannot be surpassed. An absolutely culinary experience of a very special kind. Thanks again to Lydia for her special hospitality.
P	Peter Knoerr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf der Roaner Alm bei der lieben Lydia und ihrem bezaubernden Team ist es einfach wunderschön. Man wird ganz toll und familiär umsorgt. Leckere Speisen mit z. T. italienischem Touch, Osttiroler Spezialitäten, auch eigene Kreationen, wie z. B einen vorzüglichen Auberginen-Auflauf und vielerlei Getränke wieder mit Osttiroler Spezialitäten, z. B. einen sehr leckeren Zirbenschnaps erster Qualität. Außerdem sehr viele alkoholfreie "sehr gesunde" Getränke. Das Umfeld ist in Osttirol sowieso traumhaft verbunden mit dieser wunderschönen Aussicht von der Terrasse der Roaner Alm. Seid ihr bereit, euch was Gutes anzutun, dann nix wie hin. At the Roaner Alm with dear Lydia and her charming team, it's just wonderful. You will be looked after in a great and familiar way. Delicious meals with z. T. Italian touch, East Tyrolean specialties, also own creations, such as B an excellent aubergine casserole and a variety of drinks again with East Tyrolean specialties, e.g. B. a very tasty first quality pine schnapps. In addition, a lot of non-alcoholic "very healthy" drinks. In any case, the environment in East Tyrol is fantastically connected with this wonderful view from the terrace of the Roaner Alm. If you are ready to do something good to yourself, then let's go.
R	Rüdiger Werner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren im September hier. Leider war das Wetter nicht ganz so schön. Die Wirtin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Wir haben eine Rundwanderung gemacht, die sehr schön war. Es ist möglich mit dem Auto zur Hütte zu fahren. Der Weg hinauf ist nicht der beste, aber es geht auf jeden Fall zu fahren. Es sollte vielleicht nicht regnen. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. We were here in September. Unfortunately the weather wasn't that nice. The landlady is very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. We did a circular hike which was very nice. It is possible to drive to the hut. The way up is not the best, but it is definitely possible to drive. Maybe it shouldn't rain. Definitely worth a visit.

Ausgangspunkt für schöne Bergwanderungen, nach denen man auf‘s herzlichste von der aufmerksamen Wirtin empfangen wird. Aufmerksam, weil sie aufpasst, wer wann wohin losgeht. Das Essen ist der Hammer, sehr gut und sehr reichlich, das Willkommensschnäpschen bekömmlich und das Bier schön kühl und frisch. Volle 5 Sterne verdient. An idyll. Great location with a great view. Starting point for beautiful mountain hikes, after which you will be warmly welcomed by the attentive landlady. Attentive because she pays attention to who is going where and when. The food is amazing, very good and very plentiful, the welcome schnapps digestible and the beer nice and cool and fresh. Full 5 stars.
