Eine grüne Oase im Grau der Großstadt, umgeben von Gründerzeithäusern, ein blühender Fleck im Frühling. Unter dem Park wurde 2005 eine "Volksgarage" errichtet. Die Neugestaltung des Parks erfolgte 2006. Er wurde benannt nach dem volkstümlichen Schauspieler und Träger des Ehrenringes der Stadt Wien, Richard Waldemar (1869 bis 1946).
The Richard-Waldemar-Park is a small inner-city park with a playground in the densely built-up Mariahilf. A green oasis in the gray of the big city, surrounded by Wilhelminian style houses, a blooming spot in spring. A "Volksgarage" was built under the park in 2005. The park was redesigned in 2006. It was named after the popular actor and holder of the ring of honor of the city of Vienna, Richard Waldemar (1869 to 1946).
