Is currently under construction - unfortunately a bit sloppy. Goods shed is partially demolished.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr sehenswert mit vielen Aktivitäten wie Weinkeller- und Windmühlen-Führungen. Viele Lokale. Schöne Gegend rund um Retz und schöne Ausblicke.
Well worth seeing with many activities such as wine cellar and windmill tours. Lots of places. Nice area around Retz and beautiful views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bahnhof in Retz. Lage nicht zentral, aber zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus erreicht man das Zentrum der Stadt schnell. Zwei Bahnsteige, welche geteilt sind, sodass es eigentlich vier sind. Hier halten Regionalzüge nach Payerbach-Reichenau über Wien und Regionalzüge nach Znaim. Man kann ebenfalls in den Reblaus Express einsteigen. Viele Sitzplätze am Bahnsteig. Fahrplan als Monitor und in Papierform vorhanden. Bahnhofsgebäude wirkt alt. Gute Umsteigemöglichkeit zu Bussen, kurzer Weg. Insgesamt ein durchschnittlicher Regionalbahnhof.
Railway station in Retz. Location not central, but the center of the city can be reached quickly on foot or by bus. Two platforms, which are divided so that there are actually four. Regional trains to Payerbach-Reichenau via Vienna and regional trains to Znojmo stop here. You can also get on the Phylloxera Express. Lots of seats on the platform. Timetable available as a monitor and in paper form. The station building looks old. Easy to change to buses, a short distance. Overall, an average regional train station.

Unfortunately a small town train station. No tickets, machines for tickets only with change. 100 € note will not be accepted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to access train station with bus connections to nearby towns. Public toilets are just at the end of the station. Electronic ticketing machine works well with cash and credit cards. There's a small cafe and bar inside the station as well which has long opening hours.
Plenty of parking space for cars & bikes.
