Direkt am Golfplatz gelegen sitzt man förmlich in der ersten Reihe mit dem Blick auf den 'Wilden Kaiser'. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und ist fachlich auf dem höchsten Niveau (sehr gute Weinempfehlung!). Die gehobene Küche ist ausgezeichnet, die Teller sind nicht überladen. Zudem setzt das Restaurant auf regionale Produkte. If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere with a great view of the Wilder Kaiser, excellent service and high-quality products, you will definitely find it in the Sonneck in Ellmau. Located directly on the golf course, you sit in the first row with a view of the 'Wilder Kaiser'. The staff is very attentive and technically at the highest level (very good wine recommendation!). The fine dining is excellent, the plates are not overloaded. The restaurant also uses regional products.

With the Wilder Kaiser in view, this is a must after a wonderful round of golf. The stirred iced coffee could become my tradition.

Das Essen war ebenfalls angemessen, mit einer Ausnahme: Der sog. Kartoffelgratin (zum Hirschrücken) war eine einzige Katastrophe! Hätte ich in solch einem Restaurant niemals erwartet. Innen fad, oben tot. Bei Gratin hätte ich ein bisschen Käse erwartet... vergeblich. Daher nur 3 Sterne. Hello everyone, Ambiance and service are appropriate for the price, no less but also no more. The food was also adequate, with one exception: the so-called potato gratin (with the saddle of venison) was a disaster! I would have never expected in such a restaurant. Bland on the inside, dead on top. I would have expected a bit of cheese with the gratin... in vain. Therefore only 3 stars.

Das Personal ist wirklich sehr herzlich und das Essen auch sehr lecker. Ich kann die Garnelenpfanne sehr empfehlen. A very nice golf course with a cute restaurant. We happened to stop here for lunch. The staff is really warm and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the shrimp pan.

Besonders die vielen vegetarischen Optionen haben uns gut gefallen. Leider sitzt man im Innenraum nur nicht allzu gemütlich. Wir freuen uns im Sommer nochmal die Terrasse ausprobieren zu können. The food and the service definitely deserve five stars, there is nothing to complain about in either. We especially liked the many vegetarian options. Unfortunately, you just don't sit too comfortably in the interior. We look forward to trying the terrace again in summer.

From the moment we entered we felt very welcomed and the level of service throughout the dinner was excellent! We both had a 3 course meal and the quality of food was fantastic. I can highly recommend the Safran spaghettini which were delicious! The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and had a very warm and cozy atmosphere. I can’t wait to return next year!
