Restaurant Schubert - Schreyvogelgasse 4/6

Tasty wiener schnitzel as it should be, I enjoyed it extremely.

First of all, the location is great, it’s in a small street just next to the main tourist but since it’s a little bit hidden, it’s perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place. Once we’re inside, the setting is also very beautiful, very neat and once again with this pleasant feeling of space (unlike other restaurants where they pile up as many tables as possible per square meter so you find yourself surrounded by so much noise you just can’t enjoy your dinner and you have to scream if you want to be heard!). Regarding the food, for New Year’s eve we had the choice between two menus or à la carte, which was very nicebecause one of us who didn't like what was offered on the menus so he was able to choose à la carte, very good point. Then the quality of the different dishes was simply superb, really delicious, all positive here from the first one to the very last! The only negative point was the slowness of the service, we had to wait quite long time between the different dishes. Nevertheless and this is probably the most important point here and it’s that when we reported this to the waiter, everything got back to normal and the rest of the dishes arrived very quickly. But above all to apologize of this point, he made a HUGE commercial gesture on the final bill, a gesture so generous that when he told me about it before giving me the bill, I had to ask him to repeat it because I couldn’t believe what I heard!! So in summary, I can only strongly recommend this restaurant, especially if you want to eat quality food, in a very beautiful, quiet and pleasant setting and still perfectly located in the heart of city. Definitely one of the highlights of my stay in Vienna!

We stumbled across this place but it was an excellent find. Beautiful setting and the staff were so friendly and attentive they really cant do enough for you. My husband had the Schnitzel which was lovely and I had the duck which was slightly over cooked but beautifully seasoned. Both meals were a large portion and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

It has 15,5 on Gault Millau and it serves every point. Very nice easy going atmosphere but still elegant and relaxes. Very quiet terrace attractive interior. Superb food which is not overdone just taste good. Very good wine list but be careful they have two. Ask for the complete one.

Such a lovely restaurant in the Centre but on a very quiet street! The food and white wine are amazing and the most important the waitress is very polite. She can advise and prepare everything you wish... Would definitely recommend and want to come here again!

Very lovely restaurant in a quiet part of Vienna's touristic center. It has a beautiful view from the terrace where you can actually enjoy your meal calmly. Come here for lunch or dinner instead of waiting in a queue in front of Cafe central and you would not regret it. Service is attentive, prices are reasonable. On the other hand, you might have your desert at Cafe central.

Different rooms with different light and decoration. We had lunch in a cozy table. Food is great, and the wine list is correct. Service is profesional, a bit cold but correct. All in, a good experience.
