S	Sabine Koenig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöne Lage, direkt beim See. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Frühstück ist sehr einfach gehalten, wenig Abwechslung, kein Obst, aber für ein paar Tage geht es. Das Essen von der Karte ist okay, ein paar Euro zu hochpreisig. Es ist wenig Vegetarisches Essen auf der Karte zu finden. Das Personal ist freundlich, vom Kellner bis zur Reinigungsdame. Alles in allem waren die Tage nett und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Anzumerken ist noch, dass es vielleicht besser wäre, Dispute und Streitigkeiten zwischen Chef und Personal abseits von den Gästen in RUHE zu besprechen. Im Büro oder draußen. So hatten wir Essen mit " Unterhaltung" die eigentlich keiner wollte. Wäre zumindest professioneller. Very nice location, right by the lake. The rooms were clean. Breakfast is very simple, little variety, no fruit, but it works for a few days. The food from the menu is okay, a few euros too expensive. There is not much vegetarian food on the menu. The staff is friendly, from the waiter to the cleaning lady. All in all, the days were nice and we felt comfortable. It should also be noted that it might be better to discuss disputes and disputes between the boss and staff away from the guests in RUHE. In the office or outside. So we had food with "entertainment" that nobody really wanted. At least it would be more professional.

Was das Essen angeht so erhält man ausreichend gute Gerichte! Only for restaurant stays: A candlelight dinner is not to be expected here, but the view of the lake is fantastic as long as you sit on the terrace. As for the food, you get enough good dishes!
m	ma str on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ vorweg: ich war in den letzten jahren mehrmals hier - diese rezension bewertet kein einzelerlebnis, sondern spiegelt die summe meiner erfahrungen zu unterschiedlichen tages- und jahreszeiten wider: hier geht man nicht wegen, sondern TROTZ dem wirt essen. er lebt von der lage und dem dürftigen angebot an alternativen in der umgebung. man kommt sich permanent wie ein lästiger bittsteller vor - obwohl man stattliche preise zahlt. der "hausherr" ist manchmal derart unfreundlich und genervt, dass ihm auch mal "ah jetzt kommens noch und wollen was essen" rausrutscht, wenn man 20 min vor ende der (wirklich sehr willkürlichen!) küchenzeit die frechheit hat, essen zu bestellen. wenn er das gefühl hat, es könnte bald eventuell ein gewitter aufkommen, darf (ja: darf!) man sich nicht auf die schöne (eh mit schirmen ausgestattete) terrasse setzen, sondern muss in der finsteren stube platz nehmen - den grund dafür kann man nur vermuten. die auswahl an speisen ist prinzipiell okay, es fällt allerdings auf, dass seit jahren die selben speisen angeboten werden - zu durchaus stattlichen preisen! ich persönlich kann die vielen positiven rezensionen beim besten willen nicht nachvollziehen.... First of all: I have been here several times in the last few years - this review does not evaluate an individual experience, but rather reflects the sum total of my experiences at different times of the day and seasons: you don't eat here because of, DESPITE the landlord. he lives from the location and the poor choice of alternatives in the area. you feel like an annoying supplicant all the time - even though you are paying impressive prices. the "landlord" is sometimes so unfriendly and annoyed that he sometimes slips out "ah, come on and want to eat something" when you have the cheek to order food 20 minutes before the end of the (really very arbitrary!) kitchen time. if he has the feeling that there might be a thunderstorm soon, you can't (yes: you can!) sit on the beautiful terrace (which is always equipped with umbrellas), but have to take a seat in the dark room - you can explain the reason for this just guess. the choice of dishes is basically okay, but it is noticeable that the same dishes have been on offer for years - at very good prices! I personally cannot understand the many positive reviews with the best will in the world ....

Sehr freundlicher u. schneller Wirt mit ganz leckeren Speisen. Empfehlenswertes Restaurant u. mit Zimmer. Very nice restaurant, ideally located for hiking, swimming, etc. Fishing, etc. Great terrace with a view of the neighboring Edlesbergerteich. Very friendly u. fast host with very tasty dishes. Recommended restaurant u. with room.
R	Rudolf Fleischhacker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Idyllische Lage am See. Restaurant und Zimmer in Ordnung. Im Winter wunderbare Oase als Stützpunkt und Unterkunft (falls genug Schnee)nach dem Langlaufen. Die sehr guten Mohnspezialitäten sind legendär und empfehlen sich zu einem nachträglichen ausgiebigen Rundgang um den See. Idyllic location on the lake. Restaurant and room ok. In winter a wonderful oasis as a base and accommodation (if there is enough snow) after cross-country skiing. The very good poppy seed specialties are legendary and are recommended for an extensive tour around the lake afterwards.

A	Andrea Plaim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, wegen der Lage am See. Jedoch erwartet man sich bei den Preisen auch tolle Portionen, was nicht der Fall ist. Der Wirt ist sowas von unfreundlich, das habe ich noch nie wo erlebt. Es traute sich keiner mehr nach Ketchup fragen, da alle Angst vor ihm hatten. The ambience is very nice, because of the location on the lake. However, at the prices you also expect great portions, which is not the case. The landlord is so unfriendly, I've never seen that before. Nobody dared to ask for ketchup anymore because everyone was afraid of him.
