M	M. M. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Lokal befindet sich im Areal des Schloss Halbturn. Wir kamen ohne Reservierung, die G Regeln wurden abgefragt, die Getränkewünsche wurden aufgenommen. Ein Glas Wasser wird hier ohne Information mit 60 ct. verrechnet. Ist nicht viel, aber der fehlende Hinweis ärgerte alle am Tisch. Die Servicekräfte sahen wir erst beim Bezahlen wieder. Sie waren aber höflich. Nur halt gar "unsichtbar". Schade eigentlich, da das Lokal wirklich angenehm und gemütlich ist. Gegessen haben wir leider nichts - wir mussten bald weiter.. The restaurant is located in the area of Halbturn Castle. We came without a reservation, the G rules were queried, the drink requests were recorded. A glass of water is here without information with 60 ct. offset. It's not much, but the lack of a hint annoyed everyone at the table. We only saw the service staff again when we were paying. But you were polite. Just "invisible". It's a shame, because the place is really pleasant and cozy. Unfortunately we didn't eat anything - we soon had to move on ..
G	Gretl Kex on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderschönes Schlossambiente mit überaus freundlichem Personal. Wir durften 2 Nächte im Knappenstöckl verbringen. Wir hatten 2 Kinder mit und ich muss sagen, das Personal war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und bemüht. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut. Großartig auch das Frühstück, wo man alles bekommt, was das Herz begehrt! Das Zimmer, ein Doppelzimmer, war sehr praktisch mit den Kindern. Es war sauber, viel Stauraum und sehr freundlich gestaltet mit schönen Bildern an den Wänden. Alle haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Beautiful castle ambience with extremely friendly staff. We were allowed to spend 2 nights in the Knappenstöckl. We had 2 children with us and I have to say, the staff was very friendly, courteous and tried hard. The food was also very good. The breakfast is also great, where you get everything your heart desires! The room, a double, was very convenient with the kids. It was clean, lots of storage space and very friendly designed with nice pictures on the walls. Everyone felt very comfortable! Thank you for this great vacation! We would love to come back.

We did not reserve, and it was probably a big mistake. The table we had was tiny even for 2, and we were 3 persons. But okay, the food was above average. Especially, a dessert was good. The service was a little unfriendly, the staff was very busy serving elsewhere. They were not unpolite, but the impression was, that we were not so much welcome. The atmosphere was far from comfortable, there was no free space. The "back-to-back" seats merged whith neighbours leave no other chance but to join foreign conversations, which go louder as people drink more and more alcohol. Probably, it would be better to visit this place in summer, since they have a garden with more sitting area.

If you rent a room and drink the mineral water which is placed on a small table together with two glasses in the room you will be charged with 4!! € ... We thought this is a small welcome gift... (There was NO information that the mineral water has to be payed) but when we checked out they charged us the water... VERY ANNOYING!!! Therefore one star MINUS! Also no Minibar but that's negligible...
