★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little restaurant off the beaten trail, not overly welcoming to tourist but we had a local with us to smooth the way. However that should not put you off going for great food.
I had the Wien Schnitzel, which was excellent, others in the party had Pheasant, Brain and Chicken.
Local bear was good and house wine was as good as any.
Euro 25 per head for food with bear, wine and desert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic experience. Great service who worked with our very minimal German language and seemed to appreciate our efforts. You can only speak English and be fine too! Food was good, well portioned, in season, and cooked extremely well. Definitely give the schweinebraten a try. As for the wine, not bad but the highlight was definitely the schnapps. If you want an authentic, family-run, and not super touristy vibe, this is the place.

However, I have never ever seen the restaurant where the tip is already included on the bill in the entire world.
Also, the 'tip not included' was mentioned on the bill but the male staff gave the bill after folding the paper.
(Once I tried to give the tip, the staff let me know that the tip is included.)
Even the taste of food and drink was great, i felt so bad overally.
So pity!
