Wir waren am Samstag im City Garden und haben das Grill´n´Chill - City BBQ probiert. Leider waren wir allesamt nicht besonders begeistert. Das BBQ kostet 35€ pro Person und ist damit nicht günstig. Die Salate sind frisch und gut - das passt! Das Fleisch und der Fisch jedoch werden nicht frisch gegrillt, liegen lange Zeit in den Warmhaltebehältern und schmecken dementsprechend. Die Qualität ist gut, jedoch wenn z.B. Spareribs, Würstel oder Lachs zu lange herumliegen dann ist die Konsistenz (bzw. der Garpunkt) nicht mehr wie es sein sollte - abgesehen davon, dass alles nur mehr lauwarm ist. Das Service ist freundlich aber schwach. Getränke wurden aufgenommen, dann einzeln gebracht und es wurde immer wieder nachgefragt wer was bestellt hat. Großes Bier kostet 6€ - das finde ich teuer. Bestellt wurde Mangosaft, gebracht wurde kommentarlos Multivitamin. Das BBQ geht bis 22 Uhr. Ab exakt 22 Uhr herrscht rundherum Aufbruchsstimmung, es wird abkassiert und fühlt sich gestresst endlich auszutrinken und zu gehen. Hier passt Preis/Leistung leider nicht zusammen. Für gehobene Preise erwarte ich mir frische, gute Speisen und zuvorkommendes und gutes Service. Positiv zu erwähnen ist jedoch der Garten. Der ist sehr schön und das Ambiente toll.

We went to the City Garden on Saturday and tried the Grill'n'Chill - City BBQ. Unfortunately, none of us were particularly enthusiastic. The BBQ costs € 35 per person and is therefore not cheap. The salads are fresh and good - that fits! The meat and fish, however, are not freshly grilled, lie in the warming containers for a long time and taste accordingly. The quality is good, but if e.g. Spare ribs, sausages or salmon have been lying around too long then the consistency (or the cooking point) is no longer as it should be - apart from the fact that everything is only lukewarm. The service is friendly but weak. Drinks were taken, then brought individually and we kept asking who ordered what. Big beer costs 6 € - I think that's expensive. Mango juice was ordered and multivitamin was delivered without comment. The BBQ goes on until 10 p.m. From exactly 10 p.m. there is an all-round atmosphere of optimism, people cash in and feel stressed finally drinking and leaving. Unfortunately, price / performance does not match here. For high prices I expect fresh, good food and courteous and good service. However, the garden should be mentioned positively. It's very nice and the atmosphere is great.
