The place underwent subtle changes in the last year or two (ambiente, cook, premium beverages, live music evenings) that make it a standing out in the milieu of Meidling. 4 Stars, because of the smoker section, that is not separated very well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local gem of a restaurant, or rather a Wirtshaus. Had Frittatensuppe (soup with pancake) for starter and schnitzel with potato salad for main as well as Luwanze for desert. Hard to beat the taste and homy quality and feeling, as well as the great prices. Three courses with a beer (Schnaitl) and a glass of welschriesling 20eur. Mamy locals come here, bring their dog and play cards over a beer. Great and attentive service. Will love to come back! Mshlzeit :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, fast service. The only downsides are the fact you cannot pay with card and the menus are only in German. But that's a small price to pay for good food. The staff speaks English, they are friendly and the place is cozy.
