Das Frühstück ist traumhaft und unglaublich liebevoll von der Familie persönlich zubereitet. Bei den Zimmern merkt man, dass sich die Velichs viele Gedanken gemacht haben und einen ausgesprochenen Sinn fürs Detail haben. Fahrräder sind gratis bei den Zimmern dabei. Wir konnten wunderbar entspannen und die netten Tage genießen! The host family is very committed and nice and at the same time reserved. The breakfast is wonderful and incredibly lovingly prepared personally by the family. When it comes to the rooms, you can tell that the Velichs have put a lot of thought into them and have a great sense for detail. Bicycles are free of charge in the rooms. We could relax wonderfully and enjoy the nice days!
S	Sab Hoh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ War vorher auch schon mal in der Residenz Velich, da hat es mir sehr gut gefallen - vor dem Ausbau. Seit dem Ausbau muss ich jedoch sagen, dass wir ziemlich enttäuscht waren da das Preisleistungsverhältnis einfach nicht mehr passt. Man zahlt um ein ganzes Eck mehr dafür das man die gleichen Zimmer und den gleichen Service, auch beim Frühstück, bekommt. Das Abendessen, wenn man eines möchte, ist extra zu bezahlen und preislich sehr geschmalzen für das was man bekommt - anscheinend will man hier an die Qualität eines Haubenlokals heranreichen - dem ist nur leider nicht so und dafür sind 65€ pro Person für 3 Gänge die ich in einem guten Restaurant so auch bekomme einfach zu happig. Wie auch schon jemand anderes geschrieben hat, die Warmherzigkeit der Geschäftsführer lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig - sie sind freundlich und höflich aber die ganze Atmosphäre ist sehr kühl. Die Häuser aus den 30ern oder 40ern wurden alle saniert, jedoch ist der Trittschall fürchterlich - wer hellhörig ist und sehr viel Ruhe sucht wird bei der Residenz Velich vermutlich nicht ganz glücklich werden. I've also been to Residenz Velich before, so I liked it very much - before the expansion. Since the expansion, however, I have to say that we have been pretty disappointed because the price-performance ratio just doesn't fit anymore. You pay a whole lot more to get the same rooms and the same service, even at breakfast. The dinner, if you want one, has to be paid extra and the price is very low for what you get - apparently you want to reach the quality of a gourmet restaurant here - unfortunately that's not the case and 65 € per person for 3 courses are the I get too steep in a good restaurant like that too. As someone else has already written, the warm-heartedness of the managers leaves something to be desired - they are friendly and polite but the whole atmosphere is very cool. The houses from the 30s or 40s have all been renovated, but the footfall noise is terrible - anyone who is noisy and looking for a lot of peace will probably not be completely happy with the Velich residence.
V	Volkmar Henke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider ist schon der Empfang unpersönlich und wenig warmherzig. Das Betreiberpaar vermittelt schon zu Beginn deutlich, dass man für Gäste wenig Zeit hat. Die Zimmer sind frisch saniert und in sehr gutem Zustand. Leider hat die gesamte Anlage einen "Mehrfamilienhaus-Charakter" und vermittelt aus unserer Sicht keinerlei entspannte Urlaubsstimmung. Die Wohnungen haben kleine Fenster und keinen Balkon oder Terrasse. An die Wohnungen in Parterre können alle Gäste direkt herantreten und in die gesamten Zimmer einsehen. Da hilft nur die dicken Vorhänge zuziehen und sich im Sommer wie in einer Höhle zu fühlen. Einzige Sitzgelegenheit im Außenbereich ist am Pool, wo natürlich vor allem Kinder Ihre Ferien in vollen Zügen genießen. Das mag für Familien passen. Wer hingegen Ruhe sucht, findet keine Alternative. Wir haben höflichst gefragt, ob wir unseren Aufenthalt verkürzen können, da wir uns wohl mit dem Quartier und unseren Vorstellungen von Urlaub vertan haben. Als Antwort sind wir in einem nicht mehr erträglichen Ton aufgefordert worden, sofort abzureisen. Da frage ich mich wirklich, wer ist hier der Gast und wie ist es mit einem gegenseitigen respektvollen und wertschätzenden Umgang? Nein, das ist nicht das, was wir uns unter Gastfreundlichkeit vorstellen. Unfortunately, the reception is impersonal and not very warm-hearted. Right from the start, the operator couple made it clear that there was little time for guests. The rooms have recently been refurbished and are in very good condition. Unfortunately, the entire complex has an "apartment building character" and, in our opinion, does not convey any relaxed holiday mood. The apartments have small windows and no balcony or terrace. All guests can go directly to the apartments on the ground floor and see all of the rooms. All you need to do is draw the thick curtains and feel like you're in a cave in summer. The only seating in the outdoor area is by the pool, where of course children in particular can enjoy their holidays to the fullest. That may be suitable for families. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will not find an alternative. We asked politely if we could shorten our stay, as we were probably mistaken with the area and our ideas of vacation. In response, we were asked in an unbearable tone to leave immediately. I really ask myself who is the guest here and what about mutual respect and appreciation? No, that is not what we mean by hospitality.
D	Dietmar Gruber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unser Aufenthalt war phantastisch! Die Zimmer sind 1a. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher wieder. Sehr engagierte Betreiber Familie. Das Essen und die Weinbegleitung waren traumhaft. Der Pool und die Außenanlage runden das äußerst positive Gesamtbild ab. Für einen Besuch im Nationalpark und am See der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Our stay was fantastic! The rooms are perfect. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. Very dedicated operator family. The food and the wine accompaniment were fantastic. The pool and the outdoor area complete the extremely positive overall picture. The ideal starting point for a visit to the national park and the lake.
