★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Steyrerhof ist faszinierend, auch für Wiener, weil man ihn leicht übersieht. Eigentlich sind es vier verschiedene Gebäude, teilweise aus dem Mittelalter. Ein Eintrag ist aus 1466, Umbauten erfolgten in den Jahrhunderten danach. Die letzte Umgestaltung erfolte etwa 1990 durch Harry Glück, der die mittelalterliche Fassade wieder freilegte.
The Steyrerhof is fascinating, even for Viennese, because it is easy to overlook. There are actually four different buildings, some of them from the Middle Ages. One entry is from 1466, alterations were made in the centuries afterwards. The last redesign took place around 1990 by Harry Glück, who exposed the medieval facade again.
