Entsprechend hoch ist allerdings der Zeitaufwand in der Ordination. Ich schätze es sehr, dass ich als mündige PErson wahrgenommen werde, die auch imstande ist, physiologische Zusammenhänge aufzunehmen und zu verstehen! Was noch dazukommt: Fr Prof Howorka bietet Seminare an, in denen man auf hohem Niveau Einsicht in den Metabolismus bekommt. Persönlicher und individueller Beratung und absolut individueller Medikamentation wird sehr großer Raum gegeben! I have been a diabetic patient for many years, and when I came to see Prof Howorka, I felt for the first time thoroughly examined and advised. However, the time required for ordination is correspondingly high. I appreciate very much that I am perceived as a mature person who is also able to absorb and understand physiological connections! What's more: For Prof Howorka offers seminars in which you get a high level of insight into the metabolism. Personal and individual advice and absolutely individual medication is given very large space!

Diabetestherapeutin, meine 1. Lehrerin zum Thema und ist bis heute nicht nur mein "Guru" sondern mittlerweile auch Freundin geworden. Ich lebe nicht nur bis heute ohne Spätfolgen und dank ihrer (aber auch anderer Unterstützung) war es mir möglich, vier Bücher rund ums Thema zu produzieren. Ihr strukturiertes und modulare Schulungsangebot ist einzigartig in Österreich. Freilich: für einen Termin sollte man sich Zeit und ein gutes Buch (mit)nehmen. Das mitunter lange Warten versteht man spätestens dann, wenn man selbst beraten wird und KEINE Uhr tickt, sondern es dauert, solange es eben dauert und bis alles klar ist. When I was diagnosed with insulin-dependent diabetes in 1995, I was very lucky. Univ.Prof. Dr. Kinga Howorka became my 1st diabetic therapist, my 1st teacher on the subject and to this day has not only become my "guru" but also a friend. Not only have I had no long-term consequences to this day and thanks to their (but also other support) I was able to produce four books on the subject. Their structured and modular training offer is unique in Austria. Of course: for an appointment you should take your time and a good book. The sometimes long wait is understood at the latest when you are advised yourself and NO clock ticks, but it lasts as long as it lasts and until everything is clear.
