S	Steve Wallace on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This post is long overdue. Poltehof was wonderful. The room was fantastic, staff very accommodating, and breakfast was wonderful. My wife and I spent 7-8 nights there in February 2019 and hated to leave. Poltehof is close to local restaurants and is a relatively short (but uphill) walk to the lifts. Bravo, Poltehof.
S	Sebastian Werner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a nice stay here although the village seems to be just built out of hotels. Feels a little bit like Disney Land for spline tourists. Still fiss is a nice starting point for various hiking tours.
S	Stig Nykjær Lennert on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most wonderful couple of days at the Poltehof. The family is so sweet and helpful, the breakfast is amazing and the hotel is perfect. The Hotel seems completely new with all the amenities one can ask for and very clean. A big locked storage room for bikes (or ski-equipment in the winter), an amazing spa area and a great self-service bar with lots of fun boardgames for families. The hotel even has a playroom for kids and it’s own little nearby petting-farm that can be visited whenever one wants. Kids can also try riding on the farm a couple of times a week. The hotel is also close enough to the lifts, the bike-park and Fiss town. The Super Summer Card that comes with the Hotel gives unlimited access to the lifts for the duration of the visit. Hiking and getting around in the whole area is therefore extremely easy, also getting to the summer-park with lots of activities is also very accessible. All in all we could not have wished for more on an active holiday and hope to come back soon, both summer and winter.

Poltehof is very clean and cosy, has friendly staff and has comfortable rooms/appartments. The breakfast is really good. It's a perfect stay for a family, they are used to kids. Fiss is the perfect ski area, it has the best ski school of Austria :)
