Auf dem Teller fand sich Durchschnittliches, das weder als Gaumenfreude noch als Enttäuschung in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
 The cool greeting when entering the restaurant aroused little confidence to be welcome here. Due to a lack of alternatives, the innkeeper got his chance, which he knew how to use with regard to his charm.
There was average food on the plate that will be remembered neither as a treat nor as a disappointment.
