★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome, traditional, no-nonsense, tasty, Vietnamese food! The starters were good, the Pho soup is great, the crispy duck with peanut-sauce is to die for! Service is friendly and sincere. You can only pay by cash, no cards accepted. Will definitely visit again.

The size of the restaurant is decent, about 40seats with parking.
We visited for lunch, it was pretty fun, but yet service was nice and fast. Their lunch menu consists of vegetarian springroll or soup of the day and a main with plenty of choices. It costs between 6,90 and 7,90. We ordered Pho Bo(soup noodle with beef) and Pho Ga(soup noodle with chicken).
Soup of the day was sweet and sour soup. It's tasty but rather standard. The springroll was freshly fried, crispy but not hard nor greasy. If you liked those Wok take away at Taubenmarkt, you should really try this! For the noodle, soup was nicely flavoured, meat was tender. I like to add a bit lemon juice into the soup, but it's all personal favourite.
As an Asian, authenticity is very important, and Pho Hanoi won't disappoint you if that's what you're looking for.
Remark : An apple or Orange juice is actually cheaper than a Soda Zitrone(Lemon Soda) which I found a bit interesting :)

If you like pho, then this is as good as you would find in Linz.
Also make sure to get some starters wantan chien or Cha gio
