★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich liebe die Trasse der ehemaligen Pferdeeisenbahn. Sie führt durch sehr idyllische und ruhige Waldgebiete. Es ist außerdem ein gutes Beispiel für die damalige Ingenieurskunst. Bemerkenswert wie man mit damals zur Verfügung stehenden Mitteln die Streckenführung ohne allzu große Steigungen planen konnte.
I love the route of the former horse-drawn train. It leads through very idyllic and quiet forest areas. It's also a good example of the engineering skills of the time. It is remarkable how one could plan the route with the resources available at the time without too much gradients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Pferdeeisenbahn Wanderweg und der anschließende Schatzweg bieten zu jeder Jahres- und Tageszeit Erholung und ein Naturerlebnis der besonderen Art. Lehrtafeln laden zum Beobachten von Vögeln ein, zum Überhören sind sie ohnehin nicht. Leider sind immer mehr Radfahrer und Montain Biker auf der von Jung und Alt sehr beliebten Trasse unterwegs, was hier und auch im angrenzenden Wald ausdrücklich untersagt ist. Tiefe Gräben quer durch den Wald und über den Weg zeugen von großer Ignoranz. Hier würde ich mir mehr Rücksicht und Einsicht wünschen!
The horse-drawn railway hiking trail and the subsequent treasure trail offer relaxation and a special kind of nature experience at any time of the year or day. Unfortunately, more and more cyclists and mountain bikers are on the route, which is very popular with young and old, which is expressly prohibited here and in the adjacent forest. Deep trenches across the forest and across the path are evidence of great ignorance. Here I would like to see more consideration and insight!

Bin als Linzer sehr froh in wenigen Gehminuten quasi inmitten der Natur sein zu können
A very nice walk. Especially the wooded stretch from Sankt Magdalena to the Schatzweg is recommended at any time of the year!
