A	Arnold Lengauer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Pfarrkirche von Deutschkreuz wurde im 18. Jahrhundert errichtet. Bereits 1826 erfolgte eine umfassende Restaurierung und 1928 wurde die Kirche erweitert. 1956 wieder eine Restaurierung und 1973 folgte eine neuerliche Erweiterung, verbunden mit einem größeren Umbau. Aufgrund dieser wechselvollen Geschichte entstand ein interessanter Stilmix bestehend aus dem barocken Bestand und den modernen Erweiterungen. Die Ausstattung der Kirche besteht aus einem spätbarockem Hochaltar und zwei Figurengruppen aus dem letzten Viertel des 18. Jahrhunderts (links die "Opferung des Isaak" und rechts die "Aufrichtung der ehernen Schlange", beide von Michael Minich). Ebenfalls aus dem 18. Jahrhundert stammt der Taufstein. Die Pläne zum letzten Umbau sowie die dekorative Ausgestaltung stammt von Prof. Anton Lehmden, welcher in Deutschkreuz seinen Wohnsitz hatte. The parish church of Deutschkreuz was built in the 18th century. Extensive restoration was carried out as early as 1826 and the church was expanded in 1928. In 1956 another restoration and in 1973 another extension followed, combined with a major renovation. Due to this eventful history, an interesting mix of styles was created, consisting of the baroque structure and the modern extensions. The interior of the church consists of a late baroque high altar and two groups of figures from the last quarter of the 18th century (on the left the "Sacrifice of Isaac" and on the right the "Erecting the Brazen Serpent", both by Michael Minich). The font also dates from the 18th century. The plans for the last renovation and the decorative design come from Prof. Anton Lehmden, who lived in Deutschkreuz.
