В ее облике органично соединились элементы барокко и рококо - фасад церкви выглядит воздушно, но вместе с тем торжественно и изысканно. Она была построена к 1768 году веке для ордена кармелитов, но позже передана францисканцам. Нельзя не обратить внимание на обилие лепнины и скульптуры, расположенные в нишах фасада Миниатюрная башенка под луковичным куполком, возвышающаяся над монастырским корпусом, появилась в конце XIX века. Францисканеркирхе не имеет колокольни. Читала ещё дома, что у входа можно увидеть скульптуру Младенца Иисуса. Говорят, что если загадать сокровенное желание и помолиться перед ней, то оно непременно сбудется. Парадный алтарь с перспективно расходящимися колоннами нежно-лилового цвета, оформленными «под мрамор» – главное украшение интерьера храма. В центре алтаря – Распятие, по бокам скульптуры Марии и Иоанна, фигура благословляющего Бога-Отца сверху. В церкви хранятся четыре картины австрийского художника барокко Иоганна Шмидта.
